The dead body of the girl laid limp infront of me. The last traces of madness still visible on her face.

Exactly how light ended up.

Seeing her I wanted to change the guy's fate even more...

"Is she dead?", The voice of light made me aware of his presence.

The laughing ryuk also stops abruptly, I wonder why...

"I think so...", I said.

I had a face of shock and confusion but my brain had already started the 'i-just-murdered-somebody' scenario and related questions begin to rampage my head. What to do with the body now?? What about the witness behind me?? How will he react?? Do I need to kill him?? Police... Missing... Heart attack...

How did she have a heart attack out of nowhere??... Was that a coincidence?? I think not... There was only one way, did light....

I still acted like I was scared of this situation as a normal person should be.

"I-... What the hell just happened?!... W-what the duck are we going to do now?!?", I panick which is causes light to break out of his trance.

"The police... we should enform the police...", light said. Damn this kid still keeping his facade in this situation.

"Yes we should tell the police... That a yandere cannibal girl just tried to gorge my heart out to eat it and just before she could, she had a heart attack, WHICH JUST SEEMS SO POPULAR NOWADAYS,
and died... Oh don't forget to mention how she has secret cameras and has probably bugged my entire house..."

" right??", I finish.

Wait how did she know I know that she has secret cameras in my house...

hmm... Those people probably removed her cameras when there installed the new ones in my house... That means HE is watching me too.

" He talks sense... Unlike you who is pretending to be a two-goody shoes.", Ryuk didn't waste a moment to apply salt to the burnt area.

" So what should we do??", Light said ignore ryuk as usual.

(Warning: cringe stuff)

"Hmmm... First off I ask you again...", I give him a last chance, " Are you kira?"

"People just don't die like that... Even if you say that you aren't kira, I probably won't trust you and there will be a voice in the back of my head saying otherwise." I said preparing the whole arsenal of logical and emotional reasons he should tell me the truth," I want us to be true to each other Light... Who else is there in this world for me other than you?", I internally cringe at my words wishing to die at the spot, but these words are very much necessary for the death note-corrupted Light, to make him remember that he also has a friend in this rotten boring world.

Light just stands there but you can see that he is having a internal conversation with himself if he should tell me or not. So one of them wins.

"I-... I am kira"

Y/n stared at light and light stared back.

There staring competition paused when y/n started to laugh.

' so he finally tells me... Damn I was starting to think I should have joined L side lol' are y/n thoughts. He stopped laughing and flashed light a smile.

"Why didn't you just tell me?", Y/n said.

"I didn't want to get you involved in all of this", said light pretending to be guilty.

"I see... It's fine", I said.

"So you killed her??", I said pointing towards the dead girl.

Light frowned," I... Didn't".

Then it was my turn to frown. "You didn't??... Then that was actually a coincidence??", I said.

No that is not possible there are no coincidences in this world... Everything is connected. Did-... Did she have a weak heart?? And that's the reason she was so remove my heart and eat it??... Was it ryuk??... Or some other shinigami??

"So how do you kill?", I asked light and he took out a piece of paper out of his pocket.

"First touch this", said light. I pretend to be confused but still touch the paper.

As soon as I touched the paper, my eyes grew wide and my unconsciously(not) took two steps back.

"What's that smiling...thing behind you light?", I asked although knowing the answer.

"Don't panic... This is ryuk, a shinigami. And your question of how I kill, it's something called a death note, which belongs to him. All you have to do is write the name of the person, and then they... Die", said light.

"I see", I said acting as if I am taking all that information in.

"Yo", ryuk said I his usual tone.

"Hello shinigami ryuk, I am y/n l/n pleased to make your acquaintance", I said in a formal tone.

Ryuk laughed," humans... Are so interesting..."

"Now that you know each other... A important question what to do with the body??", Said light.

"I mean, there's this big ass river beside us... And bury the knife in the ground under shade. The body will flow down-stream a merge with the ocean or be deposited somewhere in the middle. But by the time that happens, fishes would do the job for us and the body would be barely recognisable. Plus if someone could still do a post-mortem, the cause would be a heart attack.", I said.

"The story is already formed... The girl was near the river. She had a heart attack and fell into the river, died, and the body flowed down stream. There will be no light, y/n or murder in the story. Why do I feel like you planned all that??", said light.

"Just a scenario I prepared for beforehand...", I answered.

We dumped her body in the river, cleaned the knife of any finger prints just on case and buried then in the ground.

Then we casually walk back to our houses as if nothing happened and I kept showering light and ryuk with questions about the death note, shinigami world and mario kart.

It's pretty obvious now what happened...

I'm pretty curious what name you gave to y/n...

I just call all of them yaren leran...

Btw I totally forgot that y/n is batma-... a millionaire... Got to give that fact some purpose... I also forgot that y/n had a theme... Like seriously...
