Naya's pov
Our bags were being loaded into the jeep
"Its only until l learn to control my wolf mom it'll be okay" adriel told his crying mother
It makes me a bit sad knowing l don't have a mother to cry for me
"Naya" she hugged me "take care of my baby please and call me if anything happens, anything at all"
" I will Mrs McKellen" l smiled
"We have to go mom or we will miss our flight" adriel told his mom while giving her one last hug
"Bye son and be safe" his dad patted his back
We got into the jeep
I pray everything goes well at this new school, who knows maybe I'll make alot of friends there.
An hour later we were in the sky and was sweating bullets l was so scared I've never been in a plane before and l hated heights
What if our plane crashed?
Adriel must've sensed my fear because he squeezed my hand
"Are you okay" he asked
"I don't know l'm not feeling so well"
"Why what's wrong?"
"I feel dizzy, I've never been in a plane before what if something goes wrong?"
My heart started beating faster
"It will be okay the pilot is one of the best there is and the plane was checked multiple times before we got on. There's no need to worry"
"But what if it does"
" I will never let anything happen to you naya" he reached for my other hand
"I will protect you as long as I'm alive" he took my right hand and led it to his chest
"Okay?"
"Okay" l nodded
"Let me read to you it'll help you pass the time" he said
"Its a story about a boy trying to find himself but ended up finding something much more..." he began

"Naya wake up we're here" he shook me
When did l Fall asleep?
"Huh?" I yawned covering my mouth "already?"
"Yeah, our car is waiting to drive us up to the school"
"Okay" I got up sleepily
Why am l so tired?
"Would you like me go carry you?" He offered
"No thats okay" l smiled
We both got in the car and started driving
"So l just wanna thank you" l spoke up
"For what" adriel looked up from the book he was reading
"for always showing up whenever l need help. I know you just do it out of the kindness of your heart so l don't wanna cause trouble for you at this new school"
His face wore the same emotionless mask it always had
"At... this school I'll understand if you don't wanna hang around me that much afterall you are a future alpha" l continued
"Are you trying to ditch me naya?"
"No no no l-"
"Then it's settled, wherever you go l go"
I opened my mouth to say something else but nothing came out
I often wonder why he continues to help it can't be that he likes me he hasn't even mentioned the kiss
Does he regret it?
The car pulled up to a big golden gate that automatically opened when we were near
There was three huge buildings with some others surrounding it
Wow this place is beautiful
As we drove up to the building in the middle we saw a lady at the front
She had on a blue skirt suit and her hair was tightly rapped in a bun
"Welcome" she greeted us as adriel opened his door
"Hello my name is dean froyer and you must be adriel mckellen" she smiled
"And you must be his maid accompanying him" she turned to me
"Although we don't usually allow that-"
"No she's not" adriel interrupted her
"She is here to go to school as well" he said
She then looked over at me with disgust
"Oh my mistake, let me get someone to take you to the girls dorms"
"That won't be necessary she stays with me" he interrupted once more
"You must know that is against the rules, a girl cannot stay with a guy in his room" she said
"Well make different rules" he insisted
"Adriel it's okay I'll go the girls dorms, maybe I'll even make friends" l smiled
I looked around and saw girls and boys walking about minding there business
"Are you sure you'll be okay?" Adriel asked me
"Yes I'll be okay" l hoped
