Naya's pov

He looked so sad sitting there, it pained me to see him like this

How could I leave him? I think it would hurt me more if l left

I crawled towards him going into his lap he had a look of surprised on his face, slowly I brought my lips towards his and he responded almost immediately holding me close to him, any closer and we'd be one

l pulled away  a couple seconds later "I'd never leave you adriel"

"You promise?"

"I promise"

I hugged him
We stayed like that for a while

"You should get some sleep naya" he said lifting me off him and putting me on the bed "I'll take the spare bedroom"he said heading towards the door

I didn't want him to leave
I was a bit hesitant to ask him to stay
"Will you.. Will you stay here with me..?"
He stopped and looked back at me

He looked conflicted for second maybe l shouldn't have asked that
"I shouldn't have asked I'm sorry goodnight" l said laying down and turning the opposite way

I don't understand our relationship

We kissed today but what does that even mean for us does he like me or not?
The bed dipped with his weight and his arms snaked their way around my waist

Oh god
l did ask for this but I didn't know he'd-

"Go to sleep naya"

The next morning alpha allassandro and luna ruby summoned me in their presence

I was currently sitting on their sofa with my head bowed, a sign of respect
Adriel sat beside me and held on to my hands l tried multiple times to get my hand back but it was nothing but futile attempts

"Well we can't seem to keep you two apart" the alpha spoke first

"I've already signed you both up for high hark boarding school, your plane leaves tomorrow at 5 am"  the alpha continued.

"We could keep naya here but even l know that wouldn't be a good idea so why not sign her up too"
I looked up and my eyes met the alpha's
I was going with adriel?

This news excited me

"We can't just send our only heir alone so far away, so we're sending 150 of our pack members to Australia with both of you"

"Honey are you sure about this" the luna looked worriedly towards the alpha

"He's a big boy, he can take care of himself plus its not like they'll be alone they're boarding" the alpha tried to offer some comforting words but it didn't seem to work

"And we have 150 of our men going with them" he added

"Make it 200 and I'll feel a little more at ease"

"Fine" he accepted

"That seems to be all, son be careful and take care of naya"

"Always" adriel gripped my hand even tighter

"We'll go pack"

Miss patricia had already sent over my belongs and they were already packed

I had nothing Else to do

My arms stretched out comfortably on the bed, I was in one of the spare rooms laying down adriel was in his room getting his things ready to leave, I wonder how he feels about at all this
Leaving his parents to go stay in another country must be really frightening

What would my parents think if they were here

"Are you packed?"
I jumped up

"Yeah adriel" I looked down playing with my fingers

"Are you okay" he asked

"Its just.. Are you okay with leaving your parents, l know this is all my fault and I'm really sorry" I said

"Its not your fault, if l had not gone berserk we would still be going to school. I should be the one apologizing"

"No that's not true" I told him

"We'll get through this together naya stop worrying its okay.."
