Adriels pov

Its been four hour since my mom had caught naya in my room she was not awake yet
My school lessons were canceled for the day.

She seems to be very tired I looked over at her on the bed
What was that voice that woke me up last night
Sort of like ringing in my ears maybe if l tried contacting it I'd get some answers
"Hello" l looked around

She stirred waking up from her sleep her eyes wondering around until they landed on me

"How was your sleep"l asked

"Good"

"Are you hungry?"
She nodded Looking shy

"My mom needs to talk to you, I'll get you something to eat when we go downstairs" she visible paled

"Don't worry she's nice"

I got up and led her downstairs she stayed behind me hiding

"Luna" she looked down a sign of respect

"Hello sweetie, have a seat tell me about yourself" my mom said

She slowly inched towards the stools at the counter her eyes looking back at me

I moved closer to where she sat down

"I'm Naya dalysin and I'm 14 l have no parents. I've been on my own since I was 12 " she paused "I don't know where my parents are"

"Dalysins you say, l heard about your family who went missing we searched and searched but there was no trace, then we concluded that you guys moved somewhere else. I didn't know the left there daughter behind" she sighed

"Where have you been living dear?"

"I would sleep on the streets or in unfinished buildings sometimes" naya whispered

"Oh my god how have you been surviving? honey look at her she looks malnourished" my mom turned to my dad and he nodded in response

"I'm really sorry about your situation naya, Let me get you something to eat" mom got up

"Do you have any family left" she asked

"I have an aunt living in the golden ranks pack but she didn't like our family very much" naya answered

"Nonsense I'm sure she'll be glad to take you in, you are family afterall" my mom said putting some left over lasagna before naya

"Can l talk to you outside" l asked mom

"Sure" she said

"I'll be right back naya" l told her

When we got outside mom was the first to speak up

"What is it emrys"

"Mom I'm not sure sending her away is a good thing right now" l said

She sighed "look em, l think it'll be good for her to stay around family, that poor girl I can't imagine what she's been through alone out there"

I didn't want her moving to another pack I felt uneasy about this something inside me did not want to let her go
But l listened to my mom nonetheless
