School was getting more unbearable girls were coming up to me warning me to stay away from the new kid they even threatened to beat me up. When l tried avoiding him he would always find me
I sighed
"Adriel" I called his name trying to get his attention we were sitting outside under a big oak tree
He had his head stuck in a book ever since we sat down
"Yes?"
"Why are you always being nice and standing up for me whenever I'm in trouble?" I asked
"Because fairies need protecting" he said going back to read his book
What?
I bit my lip trying to figure out what he means
"How cute" he pooked my left cheek and my face warmed up
"You know, I think maybe we should stop hanging out as much" l said looking down
"Why?" He put his book down looking at me
"the other girls are starting to bully me saying l should leave the new kid alone"
"Why?"
"Because future alpha's and omega's don't mix and because you're like the guy ever girl wants now, with your I'm cool act and non-chalant attitude" I frowned
"You think I'm cool" adriel smiles he rarely does it but damn he looks so cute when he do
"That's besides the point"
"They're just all talk, nothing will happen to you I'll make sure of it" he stated firmly
The bell rang and he got up and held out his hand for me to take

"For this years class trip, we will be going camping"
The girls protested
"Can't we go to a resort" chelsea suggested
"Its already decided, next week we're going camping in the forest of campa down, if you're interested in going there's a sign up sheet by the door" should be fun I'll sign up but I'll have to ask patricia
Class dismissed
As soon as everyone left l dialed Ms. patricia
Me: hey miss patricia there's a school trip can l go?
Patricia: hey kiddo, where are they going
Me: campa down forest
Patricia: yeah sure when is it?
Me: next week Monday
Patricia: okay sure
Me: thanks miss Patricia, I have to go now bye
Patricia: bye kiddo
"You're going" adriel asked me
"Yeah, are you? I asked back
"I am now" he replied and went by the door to sign up
I followed closely behind scribbling my name on the name sheet
I looked at his name "emrys, eh?" I asked
"My dad's idea, let me drop you home, yeah?" Adriel said and l nodded
We were currently driving in his car when l decided to try out his middle name
"So emrys" l said looking over at him
"Mhm?"
"Nothing I just wanted to try it out" I smiled
"E-m-r-y- s" I typed it out on my phone
"I think it means leader or immortal, my dad loved watching merlin that's where he got the name" he said
"Mhm" I nodded listening to him
"We're here"
That was quick I got out
"See you monday" he smiled
"Bye emrys" l closed his door "and thank you so much for the ride"
