Press release: 2020/12/29

On December 26th 2020 the members of BTS were celebrating Kim Taehyung's birthday at Club Ellui in downtown Seoul with several guests. Around 11pm a large group of more than seventy-five fans overwhelmed club security and entered unlawfully. Upon flooding into the private party chaos ensued and caused Ms. Y/N to fall down a flight of stairs. Ms. Y/N, Kim Taehyung's girlfriend, was five month's pregnant with their child, and subsequently miscarried at the hospital the next day. On behalf of both Hybe Entertainment and BTS we strongly condemn this behavior from fans. Any actions that result in the safety of others being compromised should never occur. Our idols give so much of themselves to their supporters and deserve to continue leading their lives in private as well. Additionally there has never been an expectation from our company that our idols remain single. They have and will continue to pursue romantic relationships. At this time Hybe Entertainment will be representing Ms. Y/N in seeking damages in court from anyone involved in the incident. We will continue to file defamation suits against anyone continuing to cause further harm to the couple, or any of our talent in person, on television, the radio, or online. We ask for privacy during this time as Kim Taehyung, Ms. Y/N and the BTS family recover from this tragedy.

YN: What time do you think you'll be home?

KT: Just don't wait up, Jimin is obsessing over this choreo and it's going to be late

YN: Okay. I love you ❤️

You didn't bother waiting for a response back. They never came anymore. After the loss of your daughter you'd seen a side to Taehyung you'd never experienced in three years.

Initially he was very thoughtful and attentive. You'd gone home together, childless and devastated beyond comprehension. You'd shut everyone out for two days. No visitors. No calls. No texts. You'd just held each other, cried, shared all your lost dreams for your daughter. You'd named her Kim Ae-ra liked you'd always planned. The tears never seemed to end.

At the end of the two days you held her funeral, according to tradition, thankful that your mother had arranged things in your absence. Sitting in the memorial room at the hospital while endless streams of people came and went tore you up inside. You felt like you couldn't even breathe watching them give their condolences and drop envelopes in the box by the door. You hardly spoke to anyone letting Tae do almost all of the talking.

When you arrived home from the final day of the funeral you set the box in the room you'd picked for the nursery and shut the door. You hadn't yet prepared the space, you'd only been in the first stages of planning, just three paint colors swatches on a wall, so there wasn't anything to remove. You'd not returned to the room since that day. If Tae had you didn't know.

True Armys showed their loyalty, rallying around BTS and silencing the hate with their immense numbers. You stayed off social media, so if there was drama over the boys dating you didn't see it. One of the PAs had cleaned up your Instagram of any follow requests and then your pregnancy at your request.

After a couple weeks both yourself and Taehyung had returned to work, you at the publishing company, though you weren't in your dream role yet. Your ankle and elbow healed quickly like the doctor had said, your heart couldn't have been more broken.

And then Tae changed. It wasn't all at once, more incrementally. Always one to hold you all night, obsessed with cuddling, never able to sleep without his arms around you, he started holding a pillow facing the opposite way. He complained of knee pain, brushed it off. After a week you stopped asking.
