Taehyung was out of the car the minute the garage door opened, Jimin hitting the brakes at the last moment. He ran to the elevator and punched in the code, twice it was wrong and he had to take a deep breath to steady himself. Finally the elevator opened and he paced the small space as it lifted. He could fix this, he could take it back, he just had to get to you in time.

When the elevator opened to the foyer he barreled out running down the hall, he was screaming your name. The hall opened into the living room, empty. He whipped through the kitchen and dining room, also empty. Nothing looked missing, everything seemed unchanged.

It was the bedroom where signs you were gone popped up, your books weren't covering the nightstand the first thing he noticed. Then that your dressing table was cleared, all your bottles of lotions and perfume, drawers of make up, no longer arranged neatly. The racks in the closet had huge gaps between the clothing, he could tell exactly why you'd left some of the items.

You weren't in the bathroom either, all of your products gone from the drawers and counter. Taehyung slammed the door, turning down the hall. You weren't in the office, that's when he saw your letter on the piano as he glanced into his music room across the hall. He dropped to the floor and was overwhelmed with tears.

Down in the garage Jimin had taken out his cell phone, momentarily weighing the decision to call you but dialed Namjoon instead.

"Where are the two of you? We started fifteen minutes ago." Namjoon didn't sound annoyed yet by their absence.

"I need you to get over to Tae's apartment. Right now." Jimin's voice was irate. What Taehyung had said to you was going through his head and he wanted to punch him. Who looked at the woman they loved who still grieved for their baby and said that? He was fed up with Tae's behavior the last few months. Jimin had stayed out of it when Taehyung had shut him down repeatedly but this was too much.

"Why Jimin?" Namjoon's tone lowered, irritation and concern creeping in.

"Tae's done something unforgivable and I'm finding it really hard to not hit him."

"Jimin calm down I'm on the way. Stay away from each other but don't let him leave." Jimin hung up not even a goodbye and let himself into the elevator. They all knew each other's apartment codes.

Jimin doubted you were still upstairs, he knew you weren't afraid of confrontation, but this was different. No one would accept that poison from their partner and stay. Jimin shook his arms noticing he'd clenched his hands into fists. He knew his temper and he really shouldn't be going into the penthouse at all.

When the elevator opened he heard nothing. He drifted room to room finding them unoccupied. When he finally reached the music room Taehyung sat on the floor arms around his legs. His shoulders shook with his tears but Jimin didn't have the usual urge to comfort him.

"Are you surprised she left?" Jimin rolled his eyes at his own inability to leave things alone. He shouldn't have said anything. He walked back into the living room and leaned against the couch. Taehyung couldn't leave without getting past him.

PJ: Are you alright beautiful? -Message not delivered-

Jimin flinched, even understanding that you'd blocked him to keep Taehyung from reaching out still hurt. He text his girlfriend instead.

PJ: Can you see if your messages go through to Y/N? I'll explain later baby

BR: Says not delivered, is everything okay with her Chim? Should I be worried?

PJ: Don't be baby I'll be home later and we'll talk ily

Jimin wanted to text other people, check if anyone still had access to you but he shoved the feeling down. He scrolled through a news article about an upcoming election hoping the boringness would calm his nerves. After about fifteen minutes Jimin dropped his phone in his pocket hearing Taehyung wandering down the hallway. He looked disoriented and Jimin stood.
