Prompt in bold

You'd just showered the day off you and left the bathroom toweling your hair dry. You hadn't washed it but it was slightly damp from the spray. You frowned at the knock at your door. A glance through the peephole showed your boss Aaron Hotchner standing in the hallway. You sucked in a breath at the nerves that sizzled in your belly. Damn. Get yourself together.

You glanced down at your attire; sweats and a tank top was hardly what you'd call entrancing. You opened the door with a furrowed brow. "Hotch? Is there a problem?" Though you didn't know why he just wouldn't call rather than show up at your room in the wee hours of morning.

His gaze raked over you before he straightened and cleared his throat. "Can I come in?"

What the hell was going on? This was so not like him. You shrugged and stepped back, opening the door wider. "Sure."

He stepped into the middle of the room and looked around. When he remained silent even after you'd shut the door behind him, you said his name.

He glanced at you and rubbed a hand along the back of his neck. "What's going on with you and the Lieutenant?"

"I'm sorry?"

"Lieutenant Stevens."

Stevens was your liaison with the local precinct. "What are you inferring, Hotch?"

"I'm not inferring anything, agent. It is evident you and the lieutenant share a closeness that is not strictly professional. I would just like to remind you that such a relationship is not recommended." He went to move past you to the door and you stepped in his path. You weren't about to let him accuse you of something you weren't doing. Nor did he have a right to comment in the first place. Not considering JJ had married a former liaison.

"Is there a problem?" he asked when you didn't move nor did you say anything.

"I'd say you're the problem but I don't understand why. What about JJ and Will?"

"This isn't about JJ. This is about you."

You arched a brow. "So it's acceptable for her but not for me?"

His lips flattened into a straight line and his face tinted red. "So you admit there's a relationship."

Ugh. This man was so damned aggravating. "I didn't admit to anything and that is so not the point of this conversation."

Suddenly, he surged forward and pressed his lips to yours. His hand hooked around the back of your neck to hold you to him while he fed at your mouth like a starving man. By the time he pulled away, both of you were panting for air. "Could he make you feel as good as I do?"

Your gaze searched his face for a moment. "I don't know. Maybe you better demonstrate again."

As his lips found yours again, you grabbed his shirt in your hands and steered him to your bed. You could always tell him Stevens had a husband in the morning.
