That night Letty, Leon, Vince, Domonique, Eliza, and Dom are getting ready to leave to take a truck when Mia comes over and starts arguing with Domonique and Dom. "I have respected you both and I haven't said shit. Now I am asking you both not to go," Mia says as she looks between Domonique and Dom. "We're doing this for all of us," Dom tells her as he glances at the team. "Don't give me that crap. You're doing this for you. Why are you insisting on doing this? Dom, Moni, please, just don't go," Mia says before they get into the cars and leave. They arrive where the Honda Civics are stashed. "All right, we're one man short," Domonique says as she takes the covers off of the civics. "Letty, I need you on the left side. Eliza, you're with her. Dom with me and Vince." "Your sister's right about this one. This don't feel good," Leon says as he brings the harpoon gun to Dom. "Don't do that," Dom tells him with a slight glare. "Something's wrong," Eliza tells them as she brings over the other gun. "Stop," Dom says as he looks at her. "We shouldn't be doing this without Jesse," Letty continues causing Domonique to sigh. "Look. This is the mother lode. We've been on this for three months. After this, it's a long vacation for everyone. Let's go," Domonique says as she looks around at the team, hiding her own worries. "I hope so," Leon says before going to get in his car. Domonique walks over to Letty while Dom walks over to Eliza. "Listen, the other night I had a dream that you and I were on the beach in Mexico," Domonique tells Letty with a smile as she moves some hair out of Letty's face. "Really?" Letty asks her with a small smile. "Really," Domonique answers her before kissing her. "Come on. Let's make this happen," Letty tells her before walking over to her car. "Leon, keep on those scanners," Dom says as he walks over. "Copy that," Leon says before getting into his car. "All right, let's go," Domonique says before they get in the cars and take off.
Letty and Eliza share a worried look as they catch up to the truck. "Okay! Go time!" Domonique says over the walkie as she pulls in front of the truck. "We're all good. I got nothing on the scanners. Keep going," Leon says over the walkie as Dom takes the windshield out. Vince hits the seat and connects the wire to his belt. Vince jumps onto the truck. "Vince!" Dom yells as he sees the driver shoot at Vince who is on the front of the truck. "He's got a damn shotgun! Moni!" Dom says as he ducks back into the car for a moment. "Oh, shit! Get me off this thing! Pull up!" Vince yells at Domonique. "Unhook yourself. Do it! Do it!" Domonique yells back as she reaches out the window. "I can't get it!" Vince yells as he looks at her in panic. "You can do it! Come on, Vince!" Dom yells before the driver shoots out Domonique's rear light. "Moni! I'm pulling up to distract him!" Letty says over the walkie. "Take me off here, I can't unhook the wire!" Vince yells at Domonique. "Try it again. One, two, three!" Domonique yells at Vince. The driver slams on the brakes causing Vince to sling around the side of the truck. The driver quickly speeds up which throws Vince around causing his arm to get tangled in the wire. "Unhook yourself!" Dom yells at Vince as he climbs out of the car and onto the hood so he can grab Vince. "I can't get my arm free!" Vince yells back as he grabs at the arm that is tangled. "Vince, grab my hand!" Dom yells as he reaches out to Vince. "My arm!" Vince yells back. "Listen, give me your hand. I'm gonna pull you off the rig! Vince! Hold on! Give me your hand! Listen to me!" Dom yells as the driver shoots at Vince before the driver shoots Domonique's front tire out. "Dominic! Domonique!" Vince yells as the car starts slowing. "Hang on!" Dom yells back as Domonique tries to control her car. "Moni! Move out of the way. I'm coming to get him," Letty says over the walkie before she pulls up on the left side before sliding under the truck and coming out on the right side. Letty goes to pull up beside Vince but the driver swerves into her causing tires to hit. This sends Letty's car into the ditch causing it to flip three times before it landing upside down. "Letty!" Domonique yells as she sees the car. "Leon! Pull back for Letty and Eliza. Get them out of there!" Domonique says over herwalkie. "I'm on it! Go! I've got them! You get Vince off that truck," Leon replies over the walkie before he drops back to get Letty and Eliza. The driver shoots Vince in the side. "Vince!" Dom yells as he sees it happen. The driver shoots at Domonique's car causing Dom to roll across the hood with the shot hitting the engine causing the car to slowly stop. Domonique sees Brian's orange car race by as Leon stops to get them. "V!" Dom yells as Leon pulls up to where they are and takes off running over to them. "Come on, Vince! Hang in there! Come on!" Brian says as he ties Vince's belt around his arm as Vince coughs. Dom drops beside Mia and takes her place. "If he doesn't get to an ambulance in 10 minutes, he's dead." Domonique drops down beside Dom. "Hold the pressure. Hold his arm up," Brian tells Mia as he passes Vince's arm to her. "I got it," Mia tells him before he pulls his phone out. "Yeah. Yeah, this is Officer Brian O'Conner. I'm off-duty LAPD," Brian says causing Dom to glare at him. "I need a life flight roll out right away. My 20 is Highway 86, mile marker 147. I got one trauma victim, about 24 years of age. Six-foot, maybe 200 pounds. He's got a deep laceration to his right arm with arterial bleeding." Mia and Domonique both shake their head no at Dom as he looks at them. "And he's got a shotgun wound close range to his left flank. Yeah, he's going into shock!" With in the next few minutes there is a life flight there and taking care of Vince. Brian helps them get Vince into the helicopter. Dom, Mia, and Domonique all watch before Leon starts yelling about cops. Dom and Domonique walk away as Mia looks at Brian. "Mia! Lets go! Now!" Domonique yells from the car. Mia runs over to them before they get in the car and leave.
They make it back to the Toretto household before Leon, Eliza, and Letty take off to who knows where. Dom and Domonique decide to go find Jesse. "Moni, put the gun down now!" Brian yells as he pulls up and gets out aiming a gun at the siblings. "Move your car," Domonique yells back as she sings her gun at Brian. "No bullshit! Put it down now! No more running!" Brian yells at her as he walks closer. "We're not running!" Dom yells at him. "Where's Leon, Eliza, and Letty?" Brian asks as he looks around. "They're long gone!" Domonique tells him with a glare. "Then it's over. I didn't call the police, but don't push me! Put the gun down. I swear to God!" Brian yells as they walk towards each other. "You are the cop! You're a cop! Brian, I got to find Jesse before they do. We're all the kid's got," Domonique tells Brian as Mia walks out onto the porch. "I'll call in the plates. PD will pick him up way before Johnny even gets near him," Brian says as he slightly lower his gun. "Move your car," Dom says as Domonique cocks her shotgun. "Dom, Moni, stop it! It's over. Please," Mia yells at them. "Mia, stay out of it!" Dom yells back as the Jetta pulls up. "Dominic, I am so sorry. I don't know what I'm doing, Moni," Jesse says as he gets out of the car. Domonique drops her gun and Brian lowers his. "I'm so scared right now. I don't know what's going on." "What were you thinking, man?" Dom asks him as they all watch Jesse. "I don't know! I panicked! I'm sorry. I'm scared! I don't know what I'm doing! Will you please help me?" Jesse answers him as Dom, Domonique, and Brian all turn their heads at the sound of motorcycles. Tran and Lance start shooting at them causing Brian to duck behind his car. Mia ducks down on the porch as Dom and Domonique crawl across the yard towards Jesse, who stands there. "Dom! Moni! Jesse!" Mia yells from the porch before Jesse is shot. As they drive off Domonique pulls Jesse into her arms as she cries. "No, Jesse!" Mia yells as she drops beside them and places Jesse's head in her lap. Brian takes off after Tran and Lance. "No, Dom, Moni, no!" Mia yells as Dom and Domonique run to their cars and take off. Brian hits his first NOS to make sure he catches up to motorcycles before they start shooting at him. Brian is able to shoot at them but misses. Lance cuts off down a hill before coming back up behind Brian. Domonique comes out of nowhere and slams into Lance which sends him flying down a hill. Tran starts firing at Brian again before Brian comes to a stop and shoots at Tran hitting him. Brian runs over to see if Tran is alive before Domonique and Dom show up at the top of a hill. "Call 911. You call 911!" Brian tells a guy nearby before chasing after Dom and Domonique. They come to a red light and stop with Brian between them. "We used to drag race here back in high school. That railroad crossing up there is exactly a quarter mile away from here. On green, we're going for it," Domonique says before they start revving their engines. The light turns green before Dom takes off in a wheelie. Dom and Domonique quickly get in front of Brian as Dom touches the ground again. Brian has to use his NOS to keep up with them. Brian sees a train up ahead before looking over a Domonique, who simply speeds up, as does Dom. Seeing that Dom and Domonique aren't going to stop, Brian hits his NOS and they jump the track just missing getting hit by the train. They look at each other with smiles before Domonique runs into a semi truck causing her to start flipping. The car flips over Brian's before flipping into Dom's causing it to stop flipping straight up. "Dom! Moni!" Brian yells as he gets out of his car. Brian finds Domonique breathing heavily as Dom rushes over to them. "That's not what I had in mind," Domonique says before she gets out of the car with a messed up shoulder. Dom and Domonique lean against her car in defeat as they hear the police sirens in the distance. As Brian looks at Dom and Domonique he knew he couldn't send them to jail. Brian pulls his keys out of his pocket before he hands them to Domonique. "You know what you're doing?" Domonique asks as she takes the keys from him. "I owe you a 10-second car," Brian says before Domonique gives the keys to Dom before they leave.

A month later in Mexico, Domonique is driving by the beach.
"I live my life a quarter mile at a time.Nothing else matters. For those 10 seconds or less, I'm free."
