The guy holding Blue hostage shouted.

"Don't move!"

He looked familiar...

Red-You're the guy I fought in Lavender Town!

~Oh! The prick with the Golbat!

The guy-The name is Koga. Seems like you two defeated Lt. Surge and managed to destroy the whole area too.

Koga or whatever had three Pokémons out. Golbat, Grimer, and Ekans.

Luckily, I had my Raichu out.

I whispered to my Raichu.

-Raichu, use a quick attack on the guy. It needs to be super fast. The fastest.

Raichu nodded and got in a position.

Raichu dashed towards as fast as he could. Koga quickly noticed and tried to slash Blue, but Raichu got to him first and tackled Koga to the ground.

Instantly, I got my Greninja out.

-Greninja! Water shuriken!

Greninja shot all three of his Pokémons down.

-Raichu, finish it off with discharge.

A flare of electricity loosed out and hit all three Pokémons. They all fainted.

Koga-Damn you...

Greninja and Raichu regrouped with me. And counting Corviknight, this battle was already won.

Red also got his Poliwrath and Pikachu out.

Red-Surrender Koga.

Koga-Not yet!!

Koga threw out a Pokémon and the atmosphere... Froze...

Koga-Meet Articuno! Blizzard!

-C-Corviknight! Steel wing and protect us.

Corviknight rapidly set his wings out and protected us.

Red-That's the third legendary bird Pokémon...

-Looks like they caught all three of them too. Alright, you get Blue out of the way. I'll hold them off.

Red-O-Okay!

Red started running to where Blue was, but got intercepted by Koga. He pushed Red to where Blue was and ordered Articuno to use an ice beam on them.

Blue-Charizard! Flamethrower!

Out from Blue's back, his Charizard came out and burned the ice beam away.

Red-Blue!

-You weren't unconscious?

Blue-No, I was just waiting to get my chance to attack.

Koga-Damn you, little boys.

Blue-It's weird though... How can he order around Articuno like that?

-Not only Articuno, but Moltres and Zapdos too...

Koga smirked and showed us what looked like a badge.

Koga-Simple, the answer is this Soul Badge.

While he was talking, all three of us released the rest of our Pokémons. There were now dozens surrounding him and Articuno.

-Raichu, thunderbolt! Greninja, water shuriken!

Red-Pika, thundershock! Saur, razor leaf!

Blue-Charizard, flamethrower! Porygon, tri-attack!

All six attacks hit Koga and Articuno. Screaming and screeching was heard and after it was finished, they were completely knocked down.

-Whew...

I sat down on the floor and took a breath.

Red-That was tiring...

Blue suddenly went to see Koga's Golbat.

Blue-Okay, Golbat. Show me where Professor Oak is being held!

-What the..?

I stood up and went to see what he was up to. Red did the same.

Blue-Gr-Grandpa!!

Golbat had a screen in his mouth and on there it showed where Professor Oak was. He was tied up in a room.

Red-That looks like the basement!

Suddenly, a scream was heard from the top floor.

Red-That sounded like a girl..! Wait, it could be... Green!

-Well, better go check!

I returned most of my Pokémons except Greninja. And the other two returned all of their Pokémons.

Blue-I'll go find grandpa. And you guys should take this.

He threw the Soul Badge to Red.

Three of us started running in our own different directions. Red and I to where the scream was heard and Blue to the basement.
