You know that feeling in your gut when you know something is about to go wrong , when you are about to fuck up big time , that feeling that there's no going back , once you go forward with it you can't undue it and now you'll have no choice but to face your mistakes .
Yeah well I felt that feeling as soon as my fist made contact with his face .

"Honestly I don't know , but I don't care " I don't look up to her , I just continue to play with my food " I know I'm going to play well , I know what I'm capable of , I won't let anyone take that from me "
" just don't lose who are in the process Jordan " her voice is soft , barely a whisper . Almost like she's afraid . But what is she so afraid of ? I've always been lost , the moment my mother died I died with her , the moment my dad hit me my soul broke and the moment my grandmother died I lost what was left . Dust floating away in the wind . But still I look up and make eye contact with her and I say " I promise " empty words meant to be forgotten . Broken
" come on finish up so we can get to practice before we play tonight " Ali pats my back before standing " we're all waiting on you "
It's everyone.
Today is off ,something bad is going to happen today . I feel it .
Once I got tired of messing with the food on my plate since I wasn't eating it I stand up tossing it into a bin and make my way towards to girls outside getting onto the teams bus . One by one we get on ,I push myself to the back corner away from everyone and sit by myself , I put my headphones in and lean my head against the window . The sky is grey , looks like it's going to storm , hopefully it clears by the time we play .
" you know being a loner on this team never works out " i hear as my headphones are pulled up off my head , i shrug not looking away from the window and hear Jill sigh "this family won't forsake you kid " she says after a bit placing the headphones back on my head and leaving my side to the front .
I'm not worried about what they will do to me , I'm worried about what I'll do to them , what I've already done .

15 minutes - all I had to do was wait 15 minutes- 15 minutes and the game would have started - 15 minutes and I wouldn't be here blood dripping down my face , the only spot that got hit and was bleeding thanks to the ring on his finger, he looked like a mess though , broken leg , dislocated shoulder , missing teeth , a bruise already started to form around his eye . All that and he still had a smirk on his face . That's when I heard her
" you're out of the game and you'll be lucky if you play in the finale " she sighs " that's if we even make it there " in my dazed state I almost didn't understand Jill , my head felt dizzy and I fell .
