A/N:  I didn't actually originally planned on doing a celebratory chapter, but my husband did point out to me that if one person read every chapter that essentially means I could have about 100 readers to the story now.  I still won't do reads celebrations as often as votes though.  But, yeah I hit 1k reads today so!  Yay!

Btw, I do revisit the book Everleigh was reading this chapter

I don't know where Yoongi was headed for certain, but if I had to guess it had something to do with Everleigh. The woman in question had honestly been plaguing all of our minds. Personally, I was still having difficulty wrapping my head around either of the two possibilities we all were considering.

It wasn't that I didn't find Everleigh appealing. That wasn't remotely the root of the problem I was having at all. Everything about her was attractive. Everything. No, the real problem was the fact that I had never properly mended the broken heart that even hundreds of years later still remained severed in my chest.

Maelläyah. Even thinking about her name now stings. But perhaps what I should be doing is thinking about her. Perhaps, remembering her and everything that happened between us would help me heal. So, while I am cleaning dishes I mentally play the song that she had been singing the first time we met.

A gentle breeze blows in the darkening clouds over the garden I had been working in. When I feel a raindrop or two fall from the clouds above I smile upward at the sky. "I guess my work is done for the day." The plants were well taken care of now due to the pleasant spring shower falling over the blooms. I let a few more droplets fall on my cheeks before I head to a nearby tree for shelter. The branches are overly large, and the trunk is substantially wide. It was the perfect tree for waiting out the rain since there was no threat of the spring shower becoming a full blown thunderstorm. When I get underneath it I don't hesitate to sit down and prop myself against the trunk.
