Chapter 7: Next morning

Y/N's POV

I slowly woke up. I had good sleep, I haven't had one since New Haven was taken down. The sunlight was bright. I decide to get up and put on my bionic arm. I walk out of my room and head downstairs. I hear piano music.

Y/N: A piano?

I follow the music. I then found a big room with the piano. Louis was playing it. I walk in. Louis sees me and stops playing.

Louis: Y/N! Good morning.

Y/N: Good morning. You know how to play piano?

Louis: Yep. I'm really good at it. Violet doesn't think so though.

Y/N: Really?

Louis: Yeah.

Y/N: I think it sounds good.

Louis: Thank you.

Louis continues to play.

Y/N: What song is it?

Louis: It's a song I made, I don't have a name for it yet.

Y/N: Huh... that's nice. I'm gonna head outside.

Louis: Okay, I'll talk to you later.

I leave the room and head outside. I see everyone hanging out. I see AJ and Tenn sitting down at the table. I walk over.

Y/N: Hey guys.

They look at me.

Tenn: Hey Y/N.

AJ: Hello Y/N.

Y/N: What are you guys doing?

Tenn: Drawing.

I look at their drawings.

Y/N: They look really good.

Tenn: Thank you.

AJ: So Y/N...

Y/N: Yeah, buddy?

AJ: Clem told me about what happened last night. And she told me more about you.

Y/N: Did she?

AJ: Yeah, and I just wanted to say... I'm sorry about whatever happened to you. You are a really nice person. I hope you're happy here.

I give AJ a heartwarming smile.

Y/N: Thanks buddy... I appreciate that.

AJ: Are we friends?

Y/N: Of course.

We shake hands.

AJ: And about Delta and the other group that attacked you... I hope we can beat them.

Y/N: I hope so too.

I hear Willy yell at me from the guard tower.

Willy: Hey Y/N! Can you come up here for a second?

Y/N: I'll see you later AJ.

I walk over and climb up the guard tower.

Y/N: Yes, Willy?

Willy: I've been looking out for Delta and Abominations. Haven't seen them or any traces of them yet.

Y/N: That's good. Hopefully it stays that way.

Willy: And ummm.... I wanted to apologize about yesterday, you were just new and I didn't know who you were.

Y/N: It's all good.

Willy: Thank you, if I see anything, I'll let you all know.

Y/N: Okay.

I climb down the guard tower. I see Violet walking towards me.

Violet: Hey Y/N.

Y/N: Hello Violet.

Violet: Clem wants to see you in the office.

Y/N: Office?

Violet: The big doors upstairs. You'll see it.

Y/N: Okay.

I begin to walk away.

Violet: I also wanted to say sorry.

I turn around.

Violet: I didn't mean to sound rude yesterday. When I first saw you.

Y/N: No need to be sorry. I get it.

Violet: Thanks. You should probably go see Clem now.

Y/N: I will.

I walk back in the dorms. I walk up the stairs and see the office. I walk in. I see Clem.

Clementine: Hi Y/N.

Y/N: Hey Clem, Violet said you wanted to see me?

Clementine: Yes. I did.

Clem puts down a map on the desk.

Clementine: Since you are staying here, you should know where everything is.

I look at the map.

Y/N: Okay.

Clem shows me everything on the map.

Clementine: I want you to go hunting with Louis and Aasim later today.

Y/N: I can do that.

Clementine: Great! Tomorrow, me, AJ, and Violet are going to go fishing.

Y/N: Fishing?

Clementine: Yeah.

Y/N: That's nice.

Clementine: If you are up to it tomorrow, do you want to join us?

Y/N: Sure.

Clem smiles.

Clementine: Good! Good luck with hunting.

Y/N: Yep

Clementine: We'll keep an eye out for Delta and the Abominations. We're going to start making this place hard to attack soon, we need big defenses, since Delta already came before.

Y/N: We'll do the best we can.

Clementine: Thanks.

Y/N: No problem.

Clementine: That's all I wanted to show you. You should get ready to hunt.

Y/N: No problem.

I then leave the room, I head to my room and grab my vest and put it on. I then walk back outside. I see Louis and Aasim waiting for me.

Aasim: Ready?

Y/N: Yeah, let's go.

The three of us leave the school and start heading to the forest to hunt.
