T.W // talk of homophobia and abuse

George moved a little closer to Dream, resting his head on the boys chest. Dream pulled on the brunette's waist to move him impossibly closer when he noticed the other's movement.

'I'm such an idiot,' George mentally cursed.

He'd been putting off talking to Dream all night and now they were all cuddled up on the couch watching some random movie that they'd all seen before but couldn't care any less. As much as George didn't want to move from his position he knew he had to speak to Dream sooner or later. He just looked so upset, as if George had set something off when they were at the resturant, he'd never seen the boy look like the way he did. And even now on the couch his normally cheerful smile had been replaced.

A sigh was let out of the brunettes mouth, this didn't go unnoticed as the blonde gave him a questionable look. "Are you ok?" He asked turning to face the him.

George's face fell. He could see how desperately the other tried to hid his own worries.

'That's it, I cant take it anymore,' as much as he didn't want to, he removed himself from Dream but grabbed onto his hand dragging him into Dreams room.

He moved to the bed and sat on the edge, still holding onto Dreams hand. George stared at Dream dead in the eyes. This made Dream concerned and he carefully placed his free on top of Georges'.

"Dream," George continued, "did something happen, recently?"

This was all that needed to be said to make dream's eyes widen. A small tear fell from his right eye but he still sat there, speechless. Many tears followed after. Not a single word left his mouth, he just sat there silently sobbing.

George wrapped his arms over his shoulders and pulled him in closer. The blonde gently nestled his head in the others neck and moved his arms around his waist.

Dream continued to weep into the others shoulder. George moved one of his hands to the taller boys hair and run his fingers through it, trying to sooth the crying boy.

"Shh," the brunette kept his eyes closed.

No thoughts filled his head. The only thing on his mind was to help out Dream. Although he has no clue what happened to the boy, he didn't mind, he just wanted him so be ok.

They stayed like this for a while. It broke George's heart to see the boy he loved in such a bad state. He'd been bottling up his feeling for a while now, it was clear he had been. Now he was letting it all out and George was sure it was the right thing to do. He didn't regret speaking to dream. Dream needed this.

Soon his weeping turned into light sobbing, which soon turned into nothing more then dried up tears. The room fell silent as the boys sat their cuddling with on an other. A little sniffle was let out, Dream furrowed his eyebrows and looked up to see the brunette with small tears rolling down his cheeks.

"George?"

"I'm sorry, seeing you cry makes me cry," The two boys fell into a light chuckle.

Once they finished cuddling, George sat across Dream waiting for answers. The blonde sighed and looked back up to meet the brunettes gaze. Then he finally spoke.

"It was to do with why I didn't come pick you up that day at the airport." He looked back down and started fiddling with his hands. This reminded the older boy that he had a family issue, he didn't realize that it was as bad at it seemed to be.

"I-," he inhaled sharply, "I had a fight with my parents."

"You wanna talk about it?" He asked. It went silent for a few moments.

"Yeah."

The blonde inhaled and began.

"So for a while I've been a little bit, confused," he continued. "But I recently figured out, I don't know, I guess what the issue was." He stopped for a while, trying to figure out how to say his next sentence. He looked up from his hands and looked at George. "I found out that...that I wasn't attracted to just one gender." George's eyes widened but he stayed calm, he didn't want to make his best friend feel uncomfortable, he just simply nodded his head. "So I decided to tell my parents," Dream moved his view back down to focus on his fingers. "Turns out they weren't as supportive as I thought they would be," Dream chuckled lightly but kept his gaze at his hands. They were suddenly stolen from his lap and held in the warm pair from across him, a light blush hit his cheeks when he looked up and saw George looking at him. He smiled to himself and went on.

"they uhhh, they yelled at me, called me....words, the f slur," his eyes welled up and grew foggy. George squeezed the others hands and rubbed circles around with his thumb.

"We got into an argument that escalated pretty quickly," he paused, then went on. "My dad smashed a glass on the ground then punched me, he then through a glass at my face and told me to get out of his sight. I got really mad at him, so I went up stairs and grabbed Drista from under her desk where she was hiding and ran out the house."

"Oh Dream," the brunette pulled Dream into a tight hug. The blonde leaned into the touch, he pulled George by they waist onto his lap so the brunette was straddling him. Dream once again nestled his head into the others neck and shoulder. And again, tears rolled down Dreams cheeks as he pulled Georges shirt.

George was back to comforting Dream, he had one and on the others back rubbing circles and the other running through his hair.

It was another couple of minutes until the blonde had quieted down. "I'm sorry George, you don't have to be here if you don't want to-."

"No," Dream was cut off, "don't say stuff like that, I'm here for you Dream." He looked up at the taller boy and gave him a weak smile, Dream smiled back.

The younger boy inhaled sharply before going back to the topic. "Once we were out of the house I made sure Drista wasn't scared and that she was okay and took her to the park. We sat down for a while on the swing set, then I told her she should spend the night at our neighbors since it was getting late, didn't want her to stay with our parents. After a while we walked there and our neighbor made us dinner and cleaned up the glass from my face. I stayed with my sister for a bit longer, just making sure she was ok. It was getting late so I left and made my way here."

Dream then smirked and looked up at George, the brunette looked confused by this. "What?"

"Then I found a Georgie in my bed." George shoved his shoulder and they both started giggling.

Once the laughing died down the taller male leaned in closer and wrapped his arms around the smaller one, slightly tackling him down to the bed. George was hesitant at first but eventually gave in and snuggled into the younger's chest.

Soon, both of them had fallen asleep in each others arms with a warm breese coming through the slightly open window.
