Chapter 17- Chapter 17- The Town That Dreaded Sundown Pt3

Archie rang Veronica who is now yelling at Archie as I'm sat in the corner on a chair
"At least you were smart enough to not keep it in your locker. But a gun Archie? why what for?"
"To protect myself, to protect Rory"
"Against the Black Hood?"
"Then why did you point it in Sweet Pea's face?" I yell standing up
"He had a knife Aurora. He's no good for you"
"And what Reggie was? Oh my god Archie, what has Sweet Pea done to hurt me?"
"Archie, that video, the gun. If I'm following you I need to know where" Veronica paces back and forth
"Your headed down a dark path Arch and I don't like it" I walk over and sit next to him
"I need to know the truth"
"I want him dead Veronica" Archie is now the one to yell as he stands up "I want the Black Hood dead, and I want to be the one who does it" this scares me more than anything has before. What happened to my loving brother? "I want to be the last thing that he sees"
"Spoken like a true vigilante"
"No you wanted the truth. I made that video and showed my face so he'd make me his next target. I went to the Southside hoping he would come for me"
"Because the Black Hood is definitely a Serpent isn't he Arch?" I scowl looking at my twin "I don't even recognise you right now. What did you think was gonna happen?" I now stand up and yell
"Aurora's right. What did you think you would do? find the Black Hood and shoot him? then what Archie? You go to jail or you miss and get kills you"
"Doesn't matter what happens to me"
"Of course it matters Archie" I continue to yell
"It matters to me, your dad, Rory, Betty, Jughead" Archie looks like he's been defeated and sits back down on his chair "meanwhile like an idiot I'm trying to support you by designing T-shirts"
"I didn't ask you to do that"
"No you just asked me to go fetch your loaded gun and by the way incase you were wondering where it is, I threw it in Sweetwater River"
"What?"
"You can be mad at me now but you'll thank me for it later" suddenly there's banging on the door. Archie and Veronica go to answer the door while I just sit on the couch with my head in my hands begging to get a headache
"Reggie?" I hear Veronica say then some muttering.

In walks Reggie and the other Bulldogs, plus Dillon. He places the boxes of pizza he had in his hands down on to the coffee table
"Girl Andrews, been a while. I miss you"
"Yeah well I don't miss you" I take a slice of pizza as the boys all sit down
"To what do we owe this unexpected honour?" Veronica states with boredom in her voice
"Archie could've told Weatherbee the Hood was mine, but he didn't. In the book of Reg, that makes you a top tier loyal badass"
"And you know the meaning of loyal because sleeping with your girlfriends friend makes you loyal right? What are we rating Archie in the book of Rev? or was that only saved for the play book?" I scowl
"Chill girl Andrews. But Archie if you want to keep the red circle going, we're here for you dude". We all then hear motorcycle engines outside. Veronica and I stand up and walk over to the window to see the Serpents
"And not a moment to soon, Archie"
"Oh god" I breath out. Archie opens up the door and standing on our front porch is my boyfriend Sweet Pea 
"How stupid are you Northsiders? You really think you can come to my house, stick a gun in my face? In front of my boys" Sweet Pea yells "and you thought there wouldn't be any payback?"
"You have crap timing bro" Reggie opens up the door more revealing me and the other Bulldogs "you know. Bulldogs eat Serpents for lunch"
"Reggie stop" I try to move forward but Archie pushes me back
"Yeah we'll see about that" Sweet Pea chuckles "and the more the merrier"
"Hey chill" Archie tries to keep the peace "Veronica, Rory stay here"
"What no" Veronica and I say at the same time
"After dad, I made a promise to him and this house both of you stay here"
"No" I sternly say
"Yes" he says with the same amount of force I did. Archie turns back around to face Sweet Pea "if you want a we'll fight"
"What about your gun?" Pea asks 
"What about your knife?" Archie says looking up at Sweet Pea
"How about no weapons?" Veronica steps forward "if you troglodytes insist on doing this then there are gonna be rules or should I call sheriff Keller to be referee?" Why do I feel like I'm stuck in the middle of this? Oh wait it's because I am, my ex wants me back and hates my current boyfriend while my brother is on a murder vengeance and my boyfriend is to hot headed to think logically and Veronica well she's always gonna pick Archie's side. So yes I'm stuck in the middle, but in this moment of time I'm more angry at Archie, because if he didn't have a fucking gun or go to the Southside then this wouldn't be happening. I mean I know I still to talk to Pea about the knife but still Archie had a gun!

I follow the boys to the streets, all of us getting soaked and ignoring what my brother had asked
"Ok Archie, don't hurt my boyfriend to bad and Pea remember that Archie is my twin" I say in the middle of the two boys "I can't believe I'm allowing this" I mutter to myself as I walk away towards Sweet Peas bike. They stand in front of each other, waiting for the other to make the first move. Archie throws the first punch causing Sweet Pea to fall and the rest of the Serpents and Bulldogs charge at each other.
Sweet Pea gets up and punches Archie in the jaw. I watch as they all fight I look around and notice that Dilton has a knife, I watch as he stabs him self in the leg
"Dilton" I yell "what the hell" I run over to him "you just as much of an idiot as Archie" I then hear the sound a gun being shot. I look up to see Veronica holding a gun in the air "Sweet Pea go" I run up to him
"No your coming with me, I need to make sure your safe" I nod my head not bothering to argue with him and he takes my hand
"Rory get back here" I hear Archie yell. I turn around
"No. Sort yourself out Archie first. If dad wants to know why I'm not home you tell him that I'm sacred to be alone with you, so I'm staying a Sweet Pea's" I yell at him.

We arrive at Sweet Pea's trailer and immediately I'm in search for some frozen Peas to place on Sweet Pea's eye
"You're gonna have one hell of a bruise Pea" I say as I gently place the bag on his face. I then take his free hand and start to clean up his knuckles
"I'll sort the rest out, go and get changed into some of my clothes, I don't want you to catch a cold" Pea sighs
"Ok, but your taking a nice warm shower in a bit, who knows maybe I'll join you" I wink at Pea before going into his bedroom to change. I put on some of his basketball shorts, tying the string as tight as possible and also rolling them up. I also put on a shirt which is like a long dress. When I'm changed I walk back to the main part of Pea's trailer to see his sat on the couch, still with the Pea's on his face. There's a knock at the door that's makes Pea groan with annoyance. I giggle as I walk to the door and open it
"Sheriff Keller" I frown as he barges in
"Sweet Pea, your under arrest for the attack on Dilton Doiley this evening"
"What?" my eyes widen "he didn't..."
"Would you like to make a statement Miss Andrews?"
"Errr yeah I would actually" I cross my arms and follow the Sheriff and Pea out of the trailer.
