A few days later Pea and I walk into the Whyte Wyrm to see Penny sat at one of the tables. Sweet Pea instinctively pulls me behind him
"What's she doing here?" Pea spits with disgust
"Nice to see you to pretty boy" she smirks making me feel rather uncomfortable "now the reason I'm here is to help keep your trailer so are you going to let me do my job or are you both going to put a bag over my head hmm?" she raises an eyebrow at Pea and I
"What did you two do?" FP asks sounding very mad
"Errrm well we..."
"Alright order of the ophidians..." I hear Jughead say as he puts up some poster or something, cutting Sweets off.
"Jughead Jones did you really think you'd see the last of me?" Jughead freezes and you can see his whole body tense up when he hear her voice. He turns around with a expression, scared mixed with shocked
"What's the snake charmer doing here? Dad?"
"No, I brought her in to help us" Tall boy says not moving from his seat, FP look annoyed
"Of course it would be him" I mutter to Sweet Pea
"We don't need Penny's kind of help"
"You don't get a say anymore. Not since you broke serpent law and hurt one of our own kind. Penny was just about to tell your dad. Show them Penny, show 'em all " Penny rolls her sleeve up to show where Jug had sliced her arm
"That used to be my serpent tattoo, until your son sliced a chunk out of my arm and left me bleeding in a ditch in Greendale" FP leans forward rubbing his face "but I'm still willing to help the Serpents. Tall Boy showed me those eviction notices. They're legit. But luckily I can think of about 41 ways to stall the process. And I'm talking years"
"What's your price Penny?" FP speaks up
"Blood for blood. An eye for an eye. I want back in with the Serpents and I want him kicked out" Penny looks up to Jughead and FP stands up "oh yeah one last thing. I want his tattoo carved off and I want to do it myself with a dirty knife"
"What?" I practically yell
"Watch it, your lucky I'm not coming after the rest of you"
"No. You just want to be in charge right? well to bad, while FP is around you ain't running the Serpents" I storm past the bitch and go over to Toni and Fangs so we can drink.

The next night is Veronica's confirmation ceremony thing. Pea and I are sat with Archie and my other friends. Sweet Pea keeps tugging at the tie around his neck
"Will you stop?" I pull his hands away
"It's tight, I feel like I can't breathe"
"Oh stop being dramatic" I fix his tie as he managed to loosen it
"I feel ridiculous"
"Well you look handsome" I lean over to him, he thinks I'm going to kiss him because he closes his eyes leaning into me, but instead I whisper in his ear "but I can't wait to see you back in your leather jacket, that's what really turns me on" I lean back in my seat and music starts playing. Josie starts singing and Veronica starts walking to the front joining in with Josie
"You sure this isn't a wedding?" I nudge Pea to keep quiet. When she gets to the front she sings the rest of the song before getting down on her knees and putting some coin in her mouth as the priest places holy water on her forehead in a cross
"Do you Veronica Cecilia Lodge, renounce Satan and all evil works? and do you walk in the light of the Lord?" theres a pause
"I do" she finally says.
After the ceremony we all go to a party, Pea and I are eating when Betty and Jug come running up to us
"It's the head, we know where it is" Betty says with urgency. Sweet Pea and I get up from our seats and follow Jug and Betty out.

"Your the kids looking for a head?"
"I get great head" Pea comments one again earning a nudge from me
"If only we lived in a town where the answer would be no" Jughead says
"We are, and you called to say that you have it?"
"I got nearly 10 acres of scrap and I come across weird stuff all the time, but this is the first time I found a bronze head" the man picks up a large heavy bags and gives it to jughead "it was stashed in an old refrigerator"
"You didn't happen to see who dumped this?" Pea ask
"I get scavengers all the time, but there was a guy who came in last week, I had never seen him before. Claimed her wanted bike parts but he didn't buy anything. He was a low life type had on on of those jackets, you know the snake ones"
"Was he tall by any chance?" I raise an eyebrow
"Sure was, taller than you buddy" the man nods to Pea. The only one taller that him is Tall Boy. Of course we take the head and make our way to the Whyte Wyrm, picking up FP on the way and explaining to him what had happened
"Stop the damn vote" FP yells as we all walk over to where Tall Boy is. FP sits him down in a chair

"What the hell were you doing at the dump last week Tall Boy"
"I don't know what your talking about" Tall Boy says as if he's done no wrong
"I'm talking about you cutting the head off the Pickens statue and stashed it at the dump where you were seen dumb ass. So start spilling" dad says standing behind Tall Boy wrapping his hand up
"Why'd you do it?" Jughead asks "someone put you up to it?" Jughead raises his voice
"What's the Northsider doing here? this is Serpent business it's on Serpent land" Tall Boy nods his head over to Betty
"She's here because she's one of us" Jug leans over the table
"You haven't answered my son's question. Why'd you do it?" FP yells as he moves round to face Tall Boy
"Because I'm tired of seeing the Serpents going soft under your rule. Then Hiram Lodge came by wanting to stir up trouble, he said if I took the head he'd get McCoy and the cops to swarm all over us cause some chaos"
"So Hiram Lodge asked you to start a mutiny and you helped him?" Jug circles Tall Boy
"Why?" I ask
"I figured it would be my chance to get rid of you sunshine" Tall Boy nods to Jughead "and if I got rid of him I could get rid of you too FP" FP stands up
"And what you'd become leader?"
"Him and Penny" thats why he called her about the eviction notices
"Your a Judas Tall Boy and an idiot" Jug sighs
"You betrayed your own kind Tall Boy. You broke Serpent law" FP then looks up from Tall Boy to all the other Serpents "what should we do with this lowlife?"
"Strip him of his jacket, exile him" Jughead says quickly
"All those in favour" FP yells looking around and immediately everyone puts their hands up and FP chuckles "looks like this piece of trash and I got a long ride ahead of us".

Rather than going back to the party Pea and I go back to his trailer
"So shall I put on my Serpent jacket?" Sweets smirks
"No need" I smile and wrap my arms around his neck and we share a passionate kiss in the living room before ending up naked in his bedroom out of breath
"Damn you really do give good head" Sweet Pea says making me chuckle
"This is really what our pillow talk is gonna be?" I turn on my side to face him
"Let's get some sleep, we have school in the morning" Pea pulls me closer so my head is resting on his chest. I feel him press his lips on my forehead before whispering goodnight to me.
