The crowd in the tavern's bar was bustling with noise, there didn't seem to be a single person in sight without any amount of alcohol in their systems. Kaz was sat by himself at a table checking his pocket watch, only to put it away when Jesper slammed a bag on the table. "The alarm trigger is set," Jesper told him as he sat down, "horses are ready and I've stashed the rest of our gear."
"If we don't move soon, the Black General will be on top of us. We can't waste any more time looking for the girl." Kaz said, before moving his gaze to the small Suli girl as she sat down.
"I just settled our tab with the rest of our coin."
"We're really leaving empty handed, then?" Jesper asked, it wasn't like Kaz to give up on a job.
