• Ayla Blacks POV •
Yeah, I haven't heard anything about Lupin since the last time he wrote.
I wouldn't worry too much, but that's if tonight wasn't the full moon, I'm always worried about him, but especially on full moons.
Molly keeps telling me to not worry, that Lupins strong, and I know that, but every time she tells me not to worry I swear I just worry more.
"Hey Alys, can you come here?" Ginny yelled from upstairs.
Yeah, I was downstairs hanging out with Fred and George since Ginny had a friend over.
"Coming Gin" I said
"I'll be back" I said to Fred and George before I started heading upstairs.
"Okay, what's up- woah" I said.
Not much had changed, except for the fact that Ginnys hair was now cut up to her shoulders, of course it looked great, I just wasn't expecting it.
"Okay, so Malayah was here, and she convinced me to cut my hair, and I was only gonna do a little, but it ended up being like six inches and it's way shorter than I expected and I don't know what to do-" She started
"Okay Gin, take a breather-" I started
"Ayla we start Hogwarts in under two weeks, what am I supposed to do" She said
"Gin, it looks great okay-" I started
"No, Ayla I can't start with this..." She started
What possessed me to do this? I don't even know, it just seemed like the easiest way to calm her down, and quite literally the only way to calm her down in the moment.
So, I picked up the scissors and cut a chunk of my hair to about the same length as hers.
"Ayla oh my god, why" She said
"To prove to you that it's not a big deal, it's just hair Gin, it'll grow back" I said with a laugh.
"But you've always had long hair" She said
"A little change never killed anyone" I said, shrugging my shoulders.
"Okay, but we do gotta finish this cause a big chunk missing isn't the fashion statement i'm going for" I continued
"I have a better idea" Ginny said, I gave her a confused look.
"Bill" She yelled
A few seconds later Bill came walking in.
"Whats up- woah, what kind of massacre happened here" He said
"Malayah convinced me to cut my hair and I was panicking because, I'm now missing like half my head, and Ayla being the dummy she is chopped a big section of her hair to show me it's not the end of the world" She said
"Damn, you're committed, impressive" He said, I just laughed it off.
"Okay, no matter what, we need to fix this" I said
