"So, what do you want to do the project on?" Percy asked
"I have no clue, there's so many cool things" I said
"Okay, just fire them at me, what's the darkest spell you know" He said
"I don't think we want to get into that" I said
"Oh?" Percy said
"Yeah, don't go deeper than surface level" I said
"No no, you've triggered my interest" He said
"Hop off it Perc" I said
"Nope, you can't just peak my interest than walk away" He said
"I'm not walking, I'm strutting in a scholarly way" I said
"Oh shut it" He said, tazing my side
"You're gonna wanna watch it, Weasley" I said
"Oh yeah? What're you gonna do about it, Liya?" He asked
"Don't test me-" I started, getting cut off
"What is going on over here?" We heard in a scratchy voice.
Shit.
Pince.
"Oh, it's just you two" She said as she came around the corner.
"You know, I was wondering when the lot of you would become friends, carry on" She said before she hobbled away.
Pince, calm?
"Did that really just happen?" Percy asked
"Apparently" I said
"And guess what" He said
"What?" I asked
"You were bright red the whole time" He said
"Oh shove off, Weasley" I said, gently shoving him.
"Okay, back to the project, what's the dumbest spell you know?" He asked
"Oh, Anaticula, without a doubt" I said
"And will you give more information on this than the last one?" He asked
"It's a dueling spell, it makes it so anytime to other person casts a spell instead of the spell coming out the wand shoots out ducks until the counter spell is casted" I said
"Ducks?" He said
"Ducks" I said
"Huh" He said
In all honesty, I have no clue what to do for this project.
There's so many different spells out there in general, nonetheless protection spells.
"So do we want to take this seriously or do we want to piss of Locheart as much as we can?" He asked
What?
"You just lit up, so I have one important question for you" He said
"Okay, shoot" I said
"How willing are you to work with me to find a loophole?" He asked
"...Let's do it" I said
"Okay, so here's my idea, we have to present this project, we make it as official as possible, we put genuine effort into it, then during the demonstration we hit his wand instead of one of ours" Percy said
"And he can't get mad since we actually did good on the project" I said
"Exactly" He said
"This is why you're my favorite person on the planet" I said as I opened my book.
