chapter IX: The Realization

Mom's POV

I finally got back home after two weeks of working.

"I am just happy to be going to see my daughter,"

I walk to the front of my empty house to see no one. Normally, y/n would be sitting at the doorstep waiting for me, but she wasn't there.

"y/n must have gone out, or she has been staying with suki,"
I walked into the house tiredly and went to my bedroom straight and collapsed on my bed,I fell asleep.

Later, I woke up and looked around to see I slept til the next day, I picked up my phone to see if there were any messages or missed calls.

" *sighs* No missed calls."
I stood up from my bed and then went to the bathroom to shower and change from my uniform, I walked to the kitchen to make breakfast and eat. I keep looking at my phone to see if y/n will call me at all or send a message.

"I am going call her,"

I take my phone and dial her number
"Sorry, the number is currently not available. Please try again later,"
I talk to myself.

"What? That's odd,her phone is never off even in school,"

I stand up and walk out of the house, I quickly walk to suki's house, I knock on the door and look around, and then the door opens slowly, Suki greets me

"ooh, good morning, Ms L/n. how are you?" She said, sounding like she's having mixed emotions.

"Hi, suki, I am just here to see y/n. Is she here?" She looks worried

"No, I haven't seen y/n seen the school got burnt down." That makes me even more uneasy

"where could she be?,thank you suki" Walk away back to the house to y/n's room,I look around to see most of her clothes are gone then,I see a note,I read it.

"huh?I never gave y/n this note,"
I call her grandma but she say y/n never called her or came to her house then I called my sister to see if she's with her but she says she never came there,I called of my family members just hoping and praying she is okay but they all say she never came or called any of them,I go walking around the house in frustration.

"Where is she?!am worried sick!!!y/n please be okay where did she go?,did someone kidnap her?! Because this note told her to wait for a black car,ooh no someone did kidnap her,what am I going to do?!?!,this is what I get for always working" Suki walks into the house and explains to me that she wants to help me look for y/n,we both look and go around the neighborhood looking and asking around if they saw a black car come in the neighborhood two weeks ago but almost everyone says no until Mr Woodman an old man across my house said he saw her when she left

"REALLY?! Tell me everything you saw" I grabbed him by collar of his shirt then suki comes and removes my hands from him,he giggled "come in and let me tell you" he walked inside,we followed him and sat on two different chairs "now talk please tell me where my daughter is please" he chuckled again then asked us
"Would we like some tea or refreshments?" He was testing my patience, and it was getting really thin,
"Let me tell you two what I know..." he said as he gave us both cups of tea and a plate of cookies.
"...two weeks ago, I was sitting on my porch looking at the road just hoping to die then I see y/n running down the road into your house,it looked like she was in a rush,not long after she went inside a car pulled up in front your house,a black car with black tint windows it looked like a man was driving it,I wondered did someone order a uber black then she walks into the car and they took off" I was scared and wondered "do you know where he took her?!" He took a drink of his tea." No,I don't know where Aoi lives. " I sigh, then drink my spit my tea, then spit it out
"You know the man that took her away!?!?" I looked at him angrily
"Yes,I thought you knew him too. His name is Aoi Tsukumo. He has been stalking y/n for like two years now." He drinks his tea causally

"What the hell?! You know about this and didn't tell me about him?!" I say as I feel my blood boiling
"I thought you knew!,he would come to your house everyday sometimes enter then he would leave with one or two of y/n's belongings,when I first saw him in I thought he was after you until I realized it was y/n,he would follow her everywhere...so I snapped a picture of him then google searched on him" he stood up and walked to his computer and searched on him

"Aoi is 25 years old,he is from London but his parents are from Japan they had him in London,he doesn't have a crime record but he is known by the police and everyone The Tsukumo Family are known for their illegal activities but they cleaned up there act a few years ago but Aoi did have a case"
"What tell me?!" I ask in a hurry
"He has been known for almost beating his girlfriends or partners half to death,five years ago he dated a girl who looked about y/n's age,he beat her some much that she was bleeding almost every part of her body,people say that he kidnapped her and took her away from everyone in her life but she refused him all the time so that's how it all started then he killed her but he police never found enough evidence on him that he is the one who killed her,some of the police offices where bribed and the poor girl never got justice"

"So you're tell me that you knew all this and you never thought to try and tell me or y/n?!?!" I felt like I could just kill him

"Yes,I never thought it would get out of hand like this." I was about to hit him, and then Suki spoke up
" Ms L/n that's Tsukumo sensei our Music Teacher"
"What?!" I looked at her
"Yes,he and y/n were close,she really thought of him as her favourite teacher,I didn't know he could kidnap her!"
I looked at Mr Woodman. "Does it say where Aoi lives?"
"No, but the Tsukumo family has mansions in London, America,Philippines, Japan,India,Nigeria, Thailand, Turkey, and others."
"We may never find her," suki cries,I bend down to her level and wipe her tears
"Don't worry, we'll find her. I am sure of it,thank you, Mr Woodman, we'll be leaving now. Bye," we walk out
"Bye if you find Y/n tell her I say hi" he walks into his house "ah I forgot to tell them that he does go to a house outside of town in the forest meh they'll find he on there own"
I and suki walked the house,she sits on the couch, then I immediately removed my phone from my pocket and called the police
"Hello Police"
"Hello, how can we be of assistance?"
"It's my daughter she has been kidnapped,"
"Calm down Mama,how long has she been missing?"
"Two weeks"
"Okay,do you have any suspects?"
"Yes, just one."
"Who?so we can long into him or her?
" Aoi Tsukumo "
"..."
"Hello?is there a problem?"
"A-am sorry mam but we can't help you good day"
"But wa--" they hang up on me then I called back and the same thing keep on happening over and over again "okay that's it suki come on we're going to the police station" we walk out to my car and I drive us to the police station.
When we arrived there, I immediately went to the report the case, but the attendant sent me the inspectors office,me and suki went there and knocked on the door, and it opened slowly
"Please sit down," the inspector said
We sat in two chairs in his office
"Now, how can I help you, mam?" He sat at this desk and looked at us
"My daughter was kidnapped," I said sadly
"How long has she been gone?"
"Two weeks"
"Do you have any suspects or know who did it?"
"We know who did it. His name is Aoi Tsukumo."
"Well-- wait, did you say Aoi Tsukumo as in Tsukumo family Aoi?"
"Yes."
"...am sorry we can't help you,"
"What?" I and Suki say unique
"You're the police and you can't help a citizen in need,"
"Am sorry mam but listen the Tsukumo family has corrupted the police system,if we try to bring them down we could all loose everything and died,if you want to find her,you can but don't involve the police department any form of scandal for there family will leave both your families died" he said
"Thank you then, sir. we'll be leaving now. Good day,"
"You too," he said and bowed in apology
I drove suki back to her house and was driving home thinking about y/n. "Don't worry, honey, we'll find you.
