Main idea: Error is a graphic design/art major and for one of his projects, he has to make a character. He makes a sketch of the artistic skeleton we all know and love.

Main ending: He scraps Ink after a teacher tells him it isn't perfect. He makes a new OC which the teachers likes more, but when he goes back to Ink, all he sees is the paper with a large splotch of ink on it where he drew. (Extra: As a remark, the teacher wrote "Not perfect enough!" on the paper. Underneath the giant ink splotch are the words, "We have all craved things we could never have. I craved for approval, and you craved perfection. In the end, we had neither for you rejected me when nothing is truly perfect.")

Other ending: Ink comes alive, and his life span lasts as long as the pencil he was drawn from.

Sub ending of the other ending: Ink comes alive and will only die once his draft is erased.
