Main idea: The creators are leaving the multiverse. The AU's had been slowly dying now that their creators cut off their ties. Ink is desperate to save it, so he strikes a deal with Bill.
The creators never leave their multiverse again...for the price of his soul.
Sub idea of the main idea: The sanses that know Ink don't know how he lost it, or that they all nearly disappeared off the face of the universe. He probably won't willingly tell anyone either, because it makes him remember the hopelessness and desperation he felt when all his friends were dying.
