This takes place in a more realistic AU where the sanses have jobs and they're all just ordinary.
Main idea: Nightmare hadn't meant to snap at him like that, but he did. The night he did, no one saw him again. He kept that secret from everyone, that they - no, he - had argued that night. On one particularly lonely day, he sees his missing friend wandering around the bus stop, along with a couple new friends.
Sub idea of the main idea: The friend is roaming around the bus stop because the day they argued, he stormed off and didn't notice the bus about to hit him.
It can be any sans you want, basically.
