Main idea: While they are fighting, Ink notices very faint strings tied around the destroyer's limbs. The moment he does, they become very much opaque, and the curse that stops him from knowing the balance is broken. A portal opens with red strings threatening to swallow them whole. He instinctively pulls Error away from the strings that were threatening to throw him into the void. He succeeds, but becomes the one pulled in instead.
Because of his immorality and importance to the balance, he is reborn in the anti-void - with a new soul, too. Thing is, all he can remember is someone yellow, someone blue, someone with black limbs, and that this is not his home.
