Main idea: Ink and Error did have a world, a world that existed in another multiverse entirely. Fate swooped in and dropped them into the multiverse we all know and love. When they aren't "fighting", they talk with each other and explore the edges of the Doodlesphere in hopes of coming bach home.
Sub idea of the main idea: Bonus if the Sanses of their multiverse come to the one they're currently in to bring them back home.
