After all the guests left it was just the team, Maria, Helen and Rhodey left. We all sat in the living room passing around bottles of alcohol between us just hanging out.

"But it's a trick." Clint said about Thor's hammer.

"No, no its much more than that." Thor told us leaning over to pass the bottle to my dad.

"Ah, whoever be he worthy shall haveth the power." Clint said in a slightly deeper voice. "Whatever man! It's a trick" He continued in his normal voice.

Thor laughed. "Please, be my guest." He gestured towards the hammer inviting Clint to pick it up.

I turned to my dad. "This won't end well."

He passed me the bottle. "Probably not." We both laughed.

"Oh, this is gonna be beautiful." I heard Rhodey say.

Tony then decided to make a joke out of it in true Tony Stark fashion. "Clint, you've had a tough week. We won't hold it against you if you can't get it up." Everyone began laughing at the joke apart from Clint.

"You know I've seen this before. Right?" Clint said as he looked towards Thor.

Clint wrapped his hand around the handle of the hammer and began to pull while everyone watched.

"I still don't know how you do it." Clint said while laughing.

"Smell the silent judgement?" Tony asked.

"Please, Stark, by all means."

Clint stepped away from the hammer leaving room for Tony to step up and try to lift it.

"Oooo, He's unbuttoning his jacket. Stark means business." I said causing the team to laugh.

I heard Rhodey say "Uh-oh." in the background which made me chuckle.

"I'm never one to shrink from an honest challenge. Its Physics." Tony placed his hand on the handle and turned to Thor. "So, if I lift it, I then get to rule Asgard?"

"Yes, of course."

"I will be reinstituting prima nocta." He stated as he tried to lift the hammer from the table and failed. "Be right back."

I turned to the team. "What's the betting he's going to get one of his toys?"

"$5 Rogers."

"You're on Rogers."

Me and my dad waited for Tony to come back to see who wins the bet. Sure, enough Tony came back with an arm from one of his Iron man suits.

"Pay up old man."

My dad reached into his pocket and placed $5 in my hand.

"Thank you, kindly sir."

I turned back around watching Tony attempting to lift the hammer even enlisting Rhodey's help. Bruce then attempted to lift the hammer and pretended to hulk out which caused the team to smile awkwardly most of us trying not to laugh. My dad then got up from the sofa and stepped over me.

"Go ahead, Steve. No pressure." Tony said.

"Come on Cap" Clint said encouragingly.

My dad grabbed the hammer and began to pull. As he did so the hammer slightly lifted and made a creaking sound against the table. I looked over at Thor who looked genuinely scared that my dad might be able to lift the hammer. My dad tried again but the hammer didn't budge. He sighed and gave up, walking back over to sit down. I looked towards Thor, who looked relieved.

"Ha ha Nothing." Thor stated.

My dad stepped back over me and sat down. I took a drink out of my bottle and turned to my dad.

"You could totally lift it couldn't you. You just didn't want to bruise his ego." I said.

My dad just smiled at me and didn't say anything leaving me with a clear answer to my question.

Bruce gestured to Nat and then the hammer "Widow?"

"Oh, no, no. That's not a question I need answered."

"Mini Rogers how about you?"

"No, I'm good actually. I don't wanna damage your ego's anymore."

Nat, Maria and Helen all chuckled at my remark while the guys seemed unimpressed.

"All deference to the Man Who Wouldn't Be King, but its rigged." Tony said about the hammer.

"You bet your ass." Clint agreed.

"Steve, He said a bad language word." Maria pointed out referring to what happened on our last mission.

"Did you tell everyone about that?" My dad asked looking from me to Tony. Me and Tony just looked at each other and laughed and he continued to explain how the hammer was rigged.

"The handle's imprinted, right? Like a security code. Whosoever is carrying Thor's fingerprints is, I think, the literal translation."

"Yes. It's a very, very interesting theory. I have a simpler one." Thor then picked up his hammer with ease and threw it up in the air. "You're all not worthy." Everyone groaned at Thor's comment.

"Oh, come on." My dad said.

There was then a really high-pitched noise that caused everyone to cover their ears.
