You Never Sleep After School

Carly's POV
••••school ended••••

We were on our way home, me and Leo agreed that we can go on a date on weekends and holidays so we can focuse on our studies at the weekdays

Leo pouted when we finally arrived at the front of my home, he doesn't want to let go of my hand
"Honey you should let go of my hand now or else my brother's would see us" I whispered to him and exactly after I finished my sentence someone opened the door and I saw Sean

He has a popsicle in his mouth, he removed it
"Hey Leo I do accept your relationship with my sister but please stop doing couple stuff in front of me k?" he said and slammed the door shut

I was only left wide eyed and I look at Leo, he sighed and let go of my hand
"see you tomorrow" I said to him and has a sad face, I giggled

"see you tomorrow" he said in a depressing tone, I walked up to him and peck him on the lip after that I went in my home

Leo's POV
I smiled a little after Carly pecked me on my lips and she hurriedly went in her home, stay patient Leo soon everyday you and Carly will be together in the same house so you don't have to walk her home

Carly's POV
I grinned as soon as I close the door
"you look happy" Matt said to me with his arms crossed and he is leaning at the wall

"how long were you waiting for me like that?" I asked him with my brows raised

"long enough to see you walk with Leo all the way to the front door" Jasper said as he pops out of nowhere

"wait a damn minute were you both spying on me?" I asked to both Jasper and Matt as I sat down on the couch

Sean came in the room and sat down beside me
"you idiot, even if we wanted to we'll still see you both be lovey dovey at school" he groaned

I rolled my eyes at all three of them
"but are you sure though?" Jasper asked me and I was confused by his question

"sure about what?"

All three of them look at each other, Matt decided that he will be the one to tell me

It looks like he was hesitating but he finally talked
"Carly are you sure about Leo?" Matt asked me and I was suprised, I nodded  "I am sure about Leo" I replied

"it's just that...Leo is a former player and you do know you can't let go former habits that quickly" Sean said to me and patted my back

I avoided his pat and looked at him
"what do you know about Leo?" I said in loud voice, Jasper walked up to me and he bended a little

He continued with his talking
"Carly we are only looking out for you, this is the reason why we are a bit suspicious of Leo"

I can understand their worry for me because I know that Leo has an unpraiseworthy past
"don't worry, I trust Leo he wouldn't do such a thing" I reassured them as I stand up to got to my bedroom

I closed the door and slammed my body to my bed
"aah my bed, my first lover before Leo" I said to myself

But now that I think about it, I am quite a bit curious if Leo is really telling me the truth. I was having doubts if he loves me but I managed to contain my thoughts in order and I keep saying "just trust him" over and over again out loud

I look out my window and across the street I can see Stacy's house, her bedroom window has no light in it yet
"is she not home yet" I thought and I called up Stacy

I called her three times and in the fourth call she managed to pick it up
"Carly what is it?" she asked and she yawned

"oh I thought you weren't home, your bedroom window has no light in it so I got worried"
I sat down at my bed while my window curtain is left open for me to see Stacy's window

I saw Stacy open up her window with her ear still on the phone
"as you can see I am in my home safe and sound" she said sat down by her window. I did the same thing as her and I sat by my window seat

"that's weird you never sleep after school because you usually go straight to your dad's bar?" I said in a confused tone and she chuckled at the other line

"Carly, I just wanna take a break for a moment" she sighed and leaned on her window sill as she looks at me

Stacy is just saying that she is tired but I know that she is emotionally tired from trying to avoid Kevin at school, I noticed it when we were eating lunch

Me, Stacy, Brittney and Ross were eating while Leo was off buying cupcakes for the both of us, Kevin arrived late at our table and sat beside Stacy

She didn't do anything brash but what she did however was being indifferent towards him and she left our table with the excuse that she was gonna check on her groups project

"times like these makes me wish that we were back in our old preschool days, that our only worry is on how to beat the hard levels in donkey kong haha" she joked, she was joking but her expression on her face from afar was not happy

"hey Stacy wanna try it again?" I asked her
"try what again?" she said

"...you know..with Kevin" I said and she stood up from her seat

"as if I'll bring down my pride just for him!" she said loudly that I can hear her voice from the other street, there were many bypassers that stopped walking to look at what Stacy was yelling about

She saw and hid from her curtains
"Carly I just don't want to care anymore" she whispered to me on the phone

"how about I go for a sleep over at yours? If you don't want that's oka-"

"You can come over!" she cut me off

I raised my brow as I look at Stacy's window
"you sure?"

"I am absolutely sure" she said to me
