He Is Very Picky

Libby's POV
I looked at my son gaze at his girlfriend lovingly and it made my heart swell with joy that he finally matured, he wiped the corner of Carly's mouth that has some sauce left
"You smooth kid, you really inherited everything from your father" I said in my head

Tyler though was very stressed about the situation, Brooke must be tending to Sean right now so Tyler came here for his daughter. I would never expect something like this would have my family involved but whatever makes my son happy I'll accept

"You look like you haven't had a wink of sleep yet" I told Tyler who reacted late to my comment about his haggard look

"Yeah, Brooke was in charge of watching over in the day and I am in charge of the night time" he sighed, Carly laughed loudly at something that my son told her and Tyler's lips quirked up like a small smile

"I should give you both some tea that I  could make" I insisted but he politely declined

"I don't want to drag you and your son down with us in this problem, I apologize for involving your family in this chaos" his face says guilt all over

I cleared my throat since I don't want people apologizing for the things they haven't done

"It's ok all of this wasn't your family's intention and besides" I gave a quick glance at the two "If this all works out, two of our family's might have a union" I chuckled

Tyler almost spat out the water from his mouth and quickly dried it up with a tissue that was sticking out from a tissue box, he tried to maintain his composite but was failing miserably. He rubbed one side of his temple

He leaned back at the chair "The thought of her walking down the aisle is making me more stressed out than this situation"

"Why? It's normal for a daughter to get married"

"I don't think it would be this early she would find her partner, I was hoping that after she graduates that she could start looking for him" Tyler looked at Carly and Leo who are now sitting together on the hospital bed, side by side as they are reading something in Leo's phone

We heard the door open to reveal it is Brooke with Sean in a wheelchair, his lap was covered with a blanket and he is also wearing a thick jacket. Carly was first to try and reach out to Sean but the IV bag was making it impossible for her to do so

Sean wheeled himself closer to the bed and the siblings hugged, Brooke who now has eye bags under her eyes walked up to us to sit beside her husband. Tyler whispered something to Brook which made her cackle

"You can't just let your daughter be single forever Tyler!" She said loudly as she called some more as she held her stomach trying to catch her breath

Brooke's loud voice made the kids look at us with confused looks even more on Leo

"Dad I thought you approved of Leo?" Carly asked Tyler which made him panic, Tyler violently shook his head but Brooke decided it would be fun to tease her husband some more

Brooke put her arm around Tyler and pointed a finger at him "Your Dad told me that imagining you getting married is making him stressed out and why can't you just find Leo after you graduate"

Carly looked sad a bit which made Tyler speak up
"Alright, first I approved of Leo, Second how could you both plan a wedding if he hasn't proposed yet!" He told to me and Brooke at the same time which made Kathrina drop her candies

Her eyes went to her big brother and went "YOUR GETTING MARRIED!?" She yelled in shock and happiness, Leo was now the one who is surprised as he looks at me

"Mom it's too early!" He spoke and Carly agreed with him

"I love the idea of getting married Mom but it would be best after we graduate College, right Honey?" Carly's hand were holding with his and asked Leo, he agreed

Tyler looked at his wife "You see! She is now calling him nicknames like married couples do!" He said loudly trying to prove his point

Tyler was acting like the end of the world is near and was making a big deal out of it, if my husband was alive I think Tyler has someone who could talk to right now

"Yeah I think he wouldn't be too keen on seeing his first child get married early too" I thought to myself

Kathrina has that look of disappointment on her face as she picks up the candies on the floor
"Kathrina baby come here" I called out to her after she picked everything up

Her running to me with her small legs is very adorable, the candies that are on her arms are now on the table
"Are you disappointed?" I asked her and she nodded not hiding the fact about her emotions

I grinned "Just be patient and wait a few more years, soon the pretty lady would be a new addition to our family" I put a strand of hair behind her ear and she tries to understand what I am explaining to her

"And how many years is that?"
She asked eagerly with her big eyes looking up at me

"I'm not sure though, you could ask your brother after this" I suggested and she gave me a thumbs up with a toothy grin

"Thank God, I thought Sis is getting married already without me finding a girlfriend" Sean sighed in relief as he leans back from his wheelchair

I gave a hearty laugh "You haven't had a girlfriend yet?" I asked him and he nodded

Carly responded "He is very picky" which made Sean shoot a look at her to shut up but she gave him a smirk

Kids being kids are just different when you are an adult now
