Sneaky Girl

Carly's POV
After we watched a kids movie and did the assignment which took us two hours to do because Leo kept disturbing me with tickles and keep sending me memes in our chat, I stretched my arms and legs as I stood up from the soft rug

I marched my way to the kitchen to prepare dinner, my eyes landed on Leo sleeping as he leans on the couch while Kathrina's head is on Leo's stomach sleeping also. I shake my head and smiled at the sight in front of me

I searched through their huge pantry and the two-door fridge to which I instantly fell in love with, I finally got all the ingredients laid down at the white marble island in the kitchen which was huge

I started the stove and put the pan on the hot fire, I was busy chopping up some carrots and red bell peppers when suddenly two warm hands appeared from behind my back and are now touching my hands

"You're too slow love" Leo told me from behind and he tied my hair up in a ponytail then he kissed the nape of my neck which made me flinch a little, I put the knife down and turned my body to face him

I pushed him gently to give us a bit of space in between
"Sorry, but I'm no daughter of a famous 5-star chef Honey"

"And that is why I'm here to help" he walked closer to me and I leaned back as I put both of my hands on the countertop, he put both of his hands at my sides using the countertop to lean in. I glanced at Kathrina who is now properly asleep on the couch with a blanket over her

Leo leaned in and carried me to sit on top of the counter
"You have that surprise Pikachu face, it looks cute on you" he lifted my chin

He puts on an apron and he rolled up his sleeves, he puts on a face that I have seen once when we were cooking together back at the lake house. He looks handsome when he goes all domestic in the kitchen

He quickly finished chopping up the vegetables and I am the one giving him the rest as he cooks, he was sweating now so I pulled out a towel and dried his face

Leo's POV
I was busy with the cooking but the look on Carly's face when she sees me cooking is something that I like seeing, it's like a mixture of awe and excitement as she keeps looking at me and the food

It took me a while but I finished the cooking, Carly helped me set up the table and she patted Kathrina gently to wake up
"Sweetie it's dinner time" she whispered

Kathrina turned around and ignored her which made me scoff, she gave me the 'seriously?' Look and I shrug at her. I pulled her hand to the dining room and we are together since Kathrina doesn't look like she is planning to wake up soon

Carly's POV
We put leftovers in a lunchbox and Leo carried Kathrina to her room, I lie on Leo's bed as he makes his way to the bathroom to take a shower because his reason is that he was too sweaty

My eyes wander around his room, I saw many posters of athletes and musicians plastered at one side of his walls while the other is filled with many polaroid pictures next to his study table, I took a closer look and I see Leo in his childhood days

He looks so grumpy in some photos and there is one specific photo that caught my eyes, it was Leo that seems to be around the age of 4 or 5 and he is sitting on top of his Dad's shoulders. His grin was very wide as one of his hands was holding a small frying pan that looks like he is using it as a weapon

I laughed at myself, I can imagine him using the small frying pan and hitting everyone that he doesn't like. I heard a door open and Leo came out of the bathroom wearing only his maroon sweatpants and his abs are on display

I'm not complaining though

His hair is wet so I pulled his arm and made him sit on the bed and I took the towel to dry off his hair, I was standing in front of him when he encircled both of his arms around my waist and put his head on my stomach

I put a hand behind his back and the other on top of his head like a pat, he stood up and carried me to lie down on the bed with him. I was not comfortable though in sleeping in jeans
"Leo do you have any clothes that I could borrow?" I ask looking up at him

He sat up and went to his closet, he stepped out holding a band t-shirt and black short boxers. I accepted it and went inside the bathroom to change

Leo's POV
While Carly was in the bathroom I heard my phone get a notification, I read the message from my Mom's assistant Damien. It was the childhood location of Elijah

I messaged him a simple thanks and turned off my phone, I will just check it tomorrow. Carly came out with my shirt and boxers on and I took the pleasure of seeing her in my clothes

"You look small" I teased her and she pouted her lips
"Excuse me, it's just that you are too large" she replied and sat next to me on the bed leaning at the head boars then closing her eyes

I leaned on the headboard next to her and pulled her on the arm to me, she rested her head on my chest
"That photo" she mumbled and I look down at her, my eyes went to the wall filled with polaroid collage

"Be more specific love, there are at least 300 photos on that wall" I joked and she hit my stomach lightly
"The photo where you are with your dad, why are you holding a frying pan?" She asked me then pointed to the photo that is the centre of the collage

"That was taken on my birthday, Mom decided to give me a small kitchen set as a gift and I used the frying pan to hit peoples heads when I don't like them" I answered which resulted in her laughing

"I knew it" she sat up, she was now straddling me and pepper kiss my jaw, we heard a loud knock on the door and Carly put her head on my chest and pretended to sleep

Kathrina peeked in the room
"I'm hungry" she spoke as she is followed by Bruce behind her

"Don't worry I'll come down to the kitchen, you go first" I told her

"Are you sick too big bro? Because your voice is now hoarse" she look worried and I gave her a thumbs up with a smile. She closed the door and I can hear her footsteps get quieter

Carly's arms were shaking from laughing and sat up again on my legs, I kissed her on the lips
"You sneaky girl" I whispered in her ear before I left the bed
