Carly's POV
I ran to Leo and check his face, his nose is bleeding a lot. We immediately put Leo in the clinic and he got treated
"Sorry" I apologized to Leo as he sat there still groaning in pain from the ball that I threw at his face.

"Nah I'm okay"
I was not sure about his reply though, you cannot be ok from that blow; especially when you get a nosebleed. I gave him a not so sure look and he appeared to recognize what my face is attempting to tell him.

"I'm telling you that I am fine Carly" he held my hand which is fidgeting and stroked it, I felt so much guilt; I didn't mean to hit him hard because I was aiming at least for the arm.

"I doubt it"
"hey how about this, you call me the way you used to and now we're even" he gave me his very bright idea, forgetting that he is still in punishment. I raised my brow at him "can't, have to abide by my words"

I can help him with anything if it means I might as well lift this guilty feeling off my chest, Leo was thinking for a very long time then he snapped his fingers
"how about we join BATTLE FOR THE CROWN?" his face was filled with excitement, I can't even run fast much less

"Leo, you do know that we will just win a simple plastic crown right?"
"It's more like we are making memories" he chided, more or less I guess playing some games wouldn't do much harm...right?

If there is one thing that I noticed in Leo is that he is a very sentimental person, he wants to do a lot and take a lot of pictures. He might get sad if I turned him down when he is this excited
"fine" I muttered "but after this no more competitions"

He nodded to me but I know that he didn't even listen to a single word that I just said
"after competition no more of them," he said to himself quietly, the way he said it is like a kid trying to repeat the groceries his mom asked him to buy just so he wouldn't forget it.

"I see that there is a problem here" Stacy graced us with her sudden presence when she open the curtains beside Leo's bed in the clinic

"what are you doing here?" I asked and she showed me a huge cut in her forearm, I walked closer to her as she sat down in front of the nurse; Stacy winced from the pain as the nurse treated her.

I saw a bottle of rubbing alcohol on a shelf filled with liquid medicine and I held it to check it out, Stacy eyed me suspiciously
"don't.you.dare," she told me as I felt a scary aura surround her

"wasn't gonna" I shrugged and put the rubbing alcohol bottle back on the shelf

"What happened to him," Stacy asked and tilt her chin in Leo's direction, I scratched the back of my neck
"I uh..kind of threw a dodgeball at his face"

Stacy snorted and laughed at me
"you idiot, you always forget how accurate your throws are when you are not pressured", I rolled my eyes at her
"yeah yeah laugh all you want" I crossed my arms

The nurse finally finished treating Stacy's wound and we three went to our respective classes
"I don't know what the heck happened but you should be careful with sharp objects" I scolded her and she gave me a wry smile "yes mom" and walked away

I looked at Leo who is waiting for me to notice him
"what?", he shook his head

"it's nothing," he told me "I just never knew how much Stacy knows more about you"

"well we are friends since we were kids so it wouldn't be so weird for her to know a lot about me"
"I do have some friends when I was a kid but we never talked for a long time and we all just forgot about it" he put his arm around me

We wander a bit around school and decided to skip a class which got us in trouble, we got detention from Ms Murphy who saw us. So after school, we went directly to detention and I was greeted by a smiling Liz
"Nice seeing you here dear"

"I guess you watching over us wouldn't be so bad" I commented and sat down at the far back, Leo sat beside me and staying in detention is so boring

I and Leo already did our homework but it still hasn't cured our boredom, we heard the door open and a guy with dark hair and silver eyes came in; we both just ignored him but I heard him knock at Leo's desk

"hey long time no see Xavier"
I look at Leo and he was just confused as me, the guy sighed and pointed to himself
"it's Jeremy the fat choco addict"

Leo's eyes seem to brighten a little when he knows the weird nickname of Jeremy
"Jeremy? The hell you doing here I thought you went to Paris? Damn dude you lost a lot of weight" he told him

"change of plans, I guess. Hey we haven't gathered the whole group in a long time" Jeremy said

Group? I glanced at Leo
"I moved away so I haven't been able to get in touch with you all, damn it's been a long time dude" he fist-bumped with Jeremy and we heard someone clear their throat loudly

Liz sat at the teachers' chair and her eagle eyes were set on Jeremy
"Please take a seat and be quiet"

Jeremy took a seat next to me, he looked at me up and down
"what's your name? I'm Jeremy Hawthorn" he gave me a handshake

"Carly Myers" I whispered to him and he grinned, I felt the back of my head be burned with watchful eyes. I looked at Leo he didn't glare at Jeremy or anything he just look at us as if he is studying my actions

Leo's POV
I should be patient, I clenched my fist. Gosh I hate myself for having jealousy
