I'm waiting for Angie to finish painting her nails "does blue look good" she ask "great" I say then my phone starts ringing and it's a FaceTime call

"You should pick me up tomorrow" he says "tomorrow? From her house?" I question "yeah , why?" He ask "No reason" I lie "she knows we're just friends" he says like always "I know , I didn't say anything" I say "plus I don't care"
My eyes widened "well Edwin I have to get going" I say "yeah yeah goodnight , love you" he says "goodnight ..... love you too" I hang up and Angie and I make eye contact "he's in love with you" she says "Angie" I tilt my head "he went downstairs and left his girlfriend in bed alone to call you"

(The next day) I walk out the bathroom after taking a shower. I walk downstairs "hey baeee" Angelina says "hello" I sit next to her before my phone buzzes "Edwin?" She questions "I don't know" I pull my phone and it is a text from him "I was right" she looks at my phone

I pull up in front of Payton's house.

After about 5 minutes I see him walk out the door with Payton standing in the doorway . I look at her but look away. The door opens and he gets in "hello Najah" he smiles "hey Edwin" I pull off "how was your night" he ask "good , just girl stuff"
He nods "missed me?" He questions "not at all" I say and he laughs "yeah right" he says "miss me?" I ask "a lot actually" he says and I look at him "oh really?" I ask "yes like always" he says "mhm"
I park in front of his house "you coming in?" He ask "I'm just gonna go home" I say "come with me" he says "no I haven't been in home in like a day" I say and he gets back into the car "well I'll come with you then" he says "okay? Let's go"
We walk into my place "Najah I been meaning to talk to you" he says and I turn around "talk?" I ask "yeah I really wanna talk to you"
