though you said you'd never forget him, meeting the red head was something of a fever dream that even if you did remember...there's nothing you'd profit from it.

you met him when you and your 'friends' at the time went to his party in a city where you've never been.

not only that but he was in no way a part of your friend group so you'd never meet again. he was the friend of a friend...of a friend.

plus, the way you both met felt so embarrassing that when you were thoroughly sober, you were sure your first impression would forever be seen as a leech.

and you didn't want to maintain a relationship where you'd be viewed as a parasite.

though you would admit that you stayed in contact for maybe the first four days, after that you decided to just...stop answering.
