"Senku, Chrome, (Name), and Magma?!" Kohaku cried out, staring incredulously at said scientist.

"I've never heard of such a risky group," Suika added nervously.

"I-I-Is that even safe?" Ginro stammered. "He might be like, 'I'm the chief!' and attack you or something, Senku!"

Ignoring their protests, Senku hitched the basket higher over his shoulders before turning to the expedition group with a small smirk, "Come on, let's get going, the four of us."

Everyone stared at the green-haired teen with wide, disbelieving eyes and thinking that there must be some loose screws in his head because no one would be crazy enough to risk their lives like that.

Knowing that any further objections that they might have would be brushed off, they were left with no choice but to pull out the big guns – you, the only person that Senku would listen to.

"(Name)! Please say something! You don't actually agree with Senku, right?!" Chrome turned to you with teary, pleading eyes as he begged you to change the scientist's mind. "I'm too young to die!"

(E/C) eyes sparkled in amusement as you let out a giggle, patting the brunette's head as you reassured him, "Oh, Chrome, don't be so silly. We'll be fine. But just in case, I'll leave my will with Gen!"

The brown-haired teen's jaws dropped wide open in shock, everyone mirroring his expression as you dug around your back before pulling out a rolled paper and handing it over to the mentalist who shot you a questioning look as he accepted it.

Gen unrolled the piece of paper wordlessly as he scanned its content and with each word that he read, the corners of his lips quirked into an understanding smirk. Once done, he kept your will in the sleeve of his winter coat before anyone could get a good look at it; baby-blue eyes glinting with mischief.

Bowing his head slightly in a mock sign of modesty, he said amusedly, "I'm honoured. Don't worry, you can trust me to carry out your dying wish in the case that all three of you are gone."

"Awesome! I can die in peace then!" You clapped in glee, the smile on your lips widening tenfold. "Now that's out of the way, let's get going!"

Your action did nothing to assure the rest as they started to break down in various stages of distress.

"They're gonna die, they're gonna die!" Ginro wailed at the top of his lungs while he tugged at his hair, nearly pulling them out in his despair.

Kohaku, on the other hand, was trying to talk some sense into you as she grabbed you by the shoulders and began to shake you – hard. "(Name), have you lost your mind?! It seems as though you're trying to kill yourself!"

"Maybe I am," you replied with an innocent grin which didn't improve the situation and just caused the blonde to freak out even more.

Meanwhile, Chrome whipped his head towards Senku and pointed at you, desperation colouring his voice, "Senku, are you just gonna let (Name) does as she pleases?!"

However, the scientist didn't respond to the brunette as he let out a thoughtful hum and stroke his chin, muttering to him, "That seems like a good idea since we'll never know what may happen. Maybe I should've written a will as well."

Next to him, Kaseki reprimanded, "Not you too!"

Senku just smirked at the old man before turning to the expedition group and said, "We're after the magic stone that we'll need for making vacuum tube filaments: scheelite, which glows blue under ultraviolet light. The most heat-resistant metal in the world, tungsten!"

Chrome glanced down at the rock that Suika found in his hand and added, "This chunk came down a stream in the cave, too. There must be a treasure trove further in."
