'This belongs to you' Y/N scribbled on a brown paper bag (with the super-suit) that she was about to send to Joanna through Happy.

"Here," she handed the cover to Happy, closing the marker with the lid and smoothening down the sides of her suit.

She frowned at the other brown paper bag in Happy's other hand, "Is that for Peter?"

"Huh, yeah," Happy replied after glancing down at it.

Y/N opened the marker again and added 'Y/I. D' beside Tony's initials, "There," she nodded at him in satisfaction.

"Just stick to the cards," Maria Hill walked towards her and handed her a small piece of paper with information about her hearing.

Y/N's techs had been seized by the government after she had been taken by Elizabeth. And now there was a hearing she had to attend to get her techs back into her possession. The tough part about the case was that Y/N had created those techs when she was in the Red Room. She had managed to sneak it out of her mother's watch while she had escaped with Natasha.

Y/N puffed her cheeks as he read through the card, "'In a meeting with Agent Hill and was in an undercover mission to search for Captain America and his allies who had defied the Sokovia Accords and had no knowledge about her weapons being used.'" she read out and raised her eyebrows with a scoff, "Now, really? Me? Search for Steve and others? That's hilarious."

"Not if you make it believable," Maria shrugged, "It's all in your hands."

"Alright," Y/N sighed and walked into the room, striding past several interviewers who bombarded her with questions. Without a word, she made her way towards the seat in the front of the room before the committee and sat on the chair, leaning back on it.

"You think she's gonna stick to the cards?" Happy asked aloud.

"Bet you ten dollars, she won't," Maria shook her head knowingly, "But worth a try,"

"The damage you've caused, both with and without your techs and weapons have caused great havoc to the streets of New York," the Senator spoke, "You, despite having signed the Sokovian Accords, seemed to be a threat to the public and a possible double agent to the government."

But Y/N wasn't paying any mind to him and was turned around in her seat, mouthing over to Happy, who was seated in the back along with the reporters.

"Ms. Dmitri?" the senator addressed her to gain her attention, noticing that she was facing away from him.

"Yes, honey," she turned around, making the public chuckle.

"Do I have your attention?"

"Of course," she straightened up on her chair.
