Alexie felt himself slowly slip out of his slumber, taking in his surroundings, and conceded that he was in a jet. Blinking his eyes, he turned in the seat he was strapped to and saw Y/N, Natasha, Yelena, and Nathan— all lying on their back, unconscious.

"Request clearing for landing," Melina piloted the jet with Alisa on the other seat.

"Скопируй это. Вам разрешено приземляться в отсеке 5," a man replied through comms. (Translation: Copy that. You are cleared to land on bay 5)

"Melina? Alisa?" Alexie stared at the two women in disbelief.

Unbothered, Melina flipped a switch from one of the controls above her head, "We're touching down in one minute,"

"Then why are we still going up?"

Alexie found the answer to his question when he saw a large engine amongst the clouds. It looked like it was connected to an aircraft that was hovering in the air. It branched into several spokes, the windows on the side of each of them were lit up.

"Now you'll know how Dreykov stayed above the radar all these years," Alisa spoke.

One of the soldiers walked towards Alexie and injected a syringe into him, making his head drop in unconsciousness.

📍THE RED ROOM

After landing the jet, Melina and Alisa headed straight towards Dreykov's office.

"My God," Dreykov got off his couch, walking towards them, "So, uh, how was the family reunion? Or should I say, reunions?"

"Oh, it was awful," Melina deadpanned.

"Boring," Alisa rolled her eyes, "A waste of time,"

"They were clingy and too emotional, and needy,"

"Just like old times, huh?" Dreykov huffed.

"Hmm,"

"I was expecting you to gush all over you niece, Alisa," Dreykov turned to her, "I'm surprised you aren't,"

"She isn't really my niece," Alisa replied with a shake of her head, "She's the reason my sister and her family are dead, so, I don't really care,"

"Yelena Belova," Dreykov continued, "What's the deal with her? She was the only one affected right?"

"As far as we know, yes," Melina nodded.

"These gases and antidotes, it's a pain in my ass. It's a problem you two need to sort out together,"

"Hmm," Melina hummed in thought, "We have nine pigs that'll require our attendance in our acceptance."

"Don't give a shit about your pigs," he pushed them towards the chairs in front of his desk, forcing them both to take a seat on each of the chairs.
