He groans as the light hits his face, "5 more minutes."
"Don't be like that Kaneki," she whispers, giving him a soft kiss on his cheek.
"Come on, (Name), please."
"I still have classes to go to."
"Can't we just stay in bed," he purrs mischievously.
"Touka will kill you if she finds out you're skipping work."
"Please," he begs again, giving you his best puppy dog eyes.
"Fine, only for today."
You lie back down on the bed and allow Kaneki to pull you closer to him. His grey eyes roam around your face, he doesn't tear his eyes away from your face.
"I could get lost memorizing every curve, angle, and detail of your face."
"Really now?"
"I love you so much (Name)."
"I love you too."
His fingers tangle themselves in your hair, as he leans forward to give you a kiss. Only his lips never meet yours, he's kissing air. The beep of the alarm sends him out of his stupor.
"Damn," he curses as he runs his hand through his messy hair. "Not that dream again."
He lies back down on the bed trying to hold back his tears.
"I miss you."
