006. 𝘾𝙃𝘼𝙋𝙏𝙀𝙍 𝙎𝙄𝙓

my eyes fluttered open as i looked out the window to see it was still dark out, indicating it was still early in the morning.

as i was about to get up i felt something heavy drag me back down.

i looked to my left to see clay's face nuzzled up on my neck, his breath hitting my neck gently, and his arm on top of my chest.

i felt my face heat up but i slowly moved out of the bed to get up.

as i reached the door i saw clay move his hands to reach for something, or someone.

i headed downstairs towards the kitchen to grab some water, the cats sleeping together on the couch.

as i grabbed a cup of water i felt someone's hands go around my waist, hugging me.

i flinched hard and felt my heart drop, surprised.

i turned my head to see clay behind me.

"why did you surprise me like that, it scares me."

he hugged me again.

"i'm sorry, i didn't mean to scare you." he said as he buried his face on my neck.

i turned myself to face him. "it's fine don't worry."

he smiled and put his arm on top of my head.

"what are yo-"

"you wanted water didn't you?" he handed me a glass cup.

"oh- yeah." i nodded as i grabbed the cup.

"it's four i'm the morning, why are you up so early?"

"i was just thirsty."

"well you could've told me, i could've fixed that." he tucks a piece of hair behind my ear.

"how would you have fixed that?" i tilted my head to the side.

"well- you know- get you water, yeah." he cleared his throat.

i chuckled and nodded. "so kind of you."

"i was thinking-"

"that's a first."

"not funny," he pouted. "but i was thinking if you wanted to go somewhere with me tomorrow."

"where somewhere?"

"all you need to know is that you need some clothes to swim in."

"got it, just don't drown me."

"no promises."
