"Please stay, Erwim..."

"Levi. How much did you drink?"

"Two...." Levi gave a small hiccup

"Two sips? Cups?"

"Bottles.."

Erwin's eyes widened.

"Levi! That's ludicrous!"

"D-Don't yell at me.." Levi jerked his head at the loud noise

"I'm sorry Levi. I suppose I will discuss this with you when you are sober." Erwin sighed

He sat down on the floor, next to Levi.
Levi cuddled close into his wide shoulders.

Erwin smiled, an apologetic look in his eyes

Levi's eyes were still red from crying

"What's wrong Levi?" Erwin asked, as if he didn't know the answer already

"I was mean to Hange again. Can you tell them I said sorry?"

"Levi....", Erwin didn't know how to say this, "I already told you. Hange isn't here."

"I know! I meant when they come bacm!" Levi shoved his nails into Erwin's shoulder

"Ah!", Erwin almost moaned, "They aren't coming back Levi!"

"Whatr you on about! They're coming back! They always do....."

"Levi. Hange isn't coming back. I'm sorry to say this, but they.......aren't coming back." 

"Are you stupid?! Stop joking around!" Levi pouted

"Levi.....Hange is dead..They're not coming back..........ever again." Erwin barely muttered, the truth hitting him like a rock

"Shut up!" Levi threw the first thing he saw at Erwin

A glass wine bottle hit him square across the chest, shattering.

The wine residue splashed over his face, glass getting everywhere

Blood soaked the commander's shirt

A mixture of shock and frustration quickly turned into an expression of numbness.

"Go to sleep." Erwin whispered

"Oh! Erwin! Call Levi over, i need to tell him all about my last experiment!" Hange shouted, clearly excited

They were sitting at a table in the cafeteria.

Mike, Nanaba, Hange and Erwin.

"Sure, I'll call him." Erwin gave a small smile

He walked through the halls, searching for Levi's room.

Knocking twice, he waited for a response.

"What is it." A voice could be heard from the other end

"Its Erwin. Hange asked me to get you."

"Tell shitty glasses to fuck off, I'm not in the mood." The voice sounded annoyed but Erwin knew Levi was smiling behind the door

"Oh come on Levi, would it kill you to sound interested in anything Hange says to you?" Erwin sighed

"Fuck off."

Erwin left

"So what did he say?!" Hange yelled excitedly

"He said something rude. Knowing him he'll probably drop by your office later to hear what it is." Erwin tried to suppress a smile

He knew Levi too well.
