Trying to do a 5 page essay on a stupid book is so.. DIFFICULT!

I sighed as I shut my book and stuffed it in my bag, I'll finish it tomorrow. I wonder how Janice is doing at that get together, should I call? Nah.

"Kookie!"

She skipped happily into my room.

I rolled my eyes, what does she want????

"What do you want Yumi?" I said.

"Oh you know.."

She bit her lip as she caressed my cheek.

I slapped her arm away from me.

"No!" I exclaimed.

"Then I'll have to report Ms. Jones."

My heart pounded.

"What?" I said.

"Oh..you don't think I don't know about your little affair with Ms. Jones? The dance teacher.?"

I stood there, not sure of what to say, or react.

She giggled. "I'm always a step ahead of you Kookie.. where is she?"

I gulped. "She's at a teachers gathering."

"A teachers gathering?"

I nodded.

"There's no such thing."

I turned to face her. "What do you mean?"

"Why is there gonna be a teachers gathering?"

I shrugged my shoulders.

She chuckled. "Guess Ms. Jones lied, there's no teachers gathering? What kinda shit is that?"

My heart pounded, did Ms. Jones lie to me?

I have to go find her. Just to be sure she didn't lie, I know she wouldn't. Not to me.

I dialed her.

Damn, no answer.

I'm beginning to get angry, did Janice lie to me? Is there someone else? Perhaps.. Mr. Henney? I mean, she gets along with him just fine. I'll go over to his place then.

I'm kinda scared, I might see something I wouldn't want to see.

I grabbed my jacket.

"Are you really gonna go looking for her?" Yumi said.

"Leave me alone. If anything tell umma I went for a walk."

"Whatever."
