Dixie pov:
Today is summer break I've never been more excited,today we are going to the Bahamas with our friends and the becks,Noah is my best friend and always has been our moms have been friends since collage and me and Noah have knew each other since birth. We have done everything together so I was excited for the Bahamas to see what else we can do together but right now we are walking to last period until summer break and I was a little nervous as we have a test to revise for before the summer break ends but let's not worry about that

N: Dix,should we just skip

D: Noah are you crazy

N: no maths is so boring come on don't be a scaredy cat

D: I'm not scared Noah but we have to see what our test is about

N: come on we will ask addi or someone on the plane

D: fine but we're will we go-

And before I know it Noah is holding my hand pulling me to the car I was confused at first as he has just pulled me from the hallway and is driving towards the beach I knew what this was its our spot we go to, to tell each other things or to even just sit and watch the waves as they crash against the rocks

D: Noah why are we here

N: it's nothing I just wanted to get away with you come on I've been at soccer practice everyday haven't you missed me

Before I could answer we arrived I get out of the car and we both sit at our spot and then I answer his question

N: would you like to go back dill

D: nooo i was just kidding

When Noah calls me dill it always gives me butterflies but I can't catch feelings for my best friend or even date him I know if we ever split up we would no longer have our friendship which hurts to think about so I rest my head on his shoulder and just watch the waves crash against the rocks

N: what's on your mind dix

D: oh nothing important

N: it's got to be important if your thinking about it

D: you never take a break do you Becky

N: sorry for caring dill

D: seriously I'm just treasuring the moment

D: yeh that came out wrong

I hate when that happens I always stress her out I always make her confused with her self but then again I know how to fix it so it's not a problem but then I get call from my mom and she sounds a little mad

Noah we're are you our plane leaves in 2 hours and we still need to pack

And here we are again with Noah pulling me to the car we get in and Noah is going as fast as he can he keeps looking at the time so I try to help

D: don't worry we will make it

N: I know I know but then what is Bryce going to say about us not being in maths he doesn't really trust me with you

D: we will make up and excuse and it's not like we would do anything he's just a little over protective

After I said that I saw Noah's face drop a little it wasn't Because of what I said was it? Let's hope not because that would be awkward but before I know it we are home and everyone death stares us as we walk in

N: ok guys we can explain

B: explain why you weren't in mathematics go ahead I'm listening

D: I had a headache I'm sorry

Mrs b: now let's get going we are meeting the others at the airport

We all get in the car (it's like a mini van) Bryce and Charli in the front me and Noah and my mom in the middle and mr and Mrs beck in the very front with mr beck driving as we are driving Bryce looks over at Noah

N: look dude I know you don't trust me with Dixie but we are best friends nothing would ever happen between us

B: but how do I know that things do change Noah

N: Come on dude we are friends and I'm best friends with your sister you really think I would do that to our friendship

I was a little hurt by that not the fact that he said nothing would happen between us just that he didn't talk about our friendship being ruined I was more than upset I was hurt, did he even care about our friendship? Noah puts his hand on my thigh

N: dill you ok

N: more than anything in this world why do you ask

D: just when you were talking to Bryce you said I wouldn't do that to ruin our friendship and didn't say anything about what would happen between us

N: Dix I was talking about both of the friendships I have with you both I wouldn't do anything to ruin that I promise forever buddy's remember

And for the rest of the ride I sleep on Noah's shoulder this was going to be fun
