~chapter 22~ midnight drive

Noah pov:
The movie ended 3 hours ago and everyone headed upstairs but me and Dixie are still on the floor I've just woken up to the loud bang of my phone falling of the arm of the couch Dixie is still asleep on my chest I tuck her hair behind her ears and she wakes up she looks at me and kisses me I kiss back, she then gets up and walks into the kitchen and gets a drink of water "hey baby what time is it" "it is 11:30pm" i say putting my phone back on the couch "I'm bored like so bored" "why don't we go On a drive" "to where" "I don't know we will find somewhere" "ooo can we go to Starbucks" "coffee? Right now" "yes why not" "it's clear enough you have a lot of energy" I stand up and get my shoes and Dixie's after we put our shoes on I grab my keys and we walk out, we get in the car and start to drive I then come across a big long dark road I decided to drive down it "should we play some music" "erm if you want" I put on the radio and it's the same song Dixie was singing in the shower I start to mumble the words "I'll sit and watch your car burn" "with the fire that you started in me" I look at her and smile her voice is amazing and I hope one day she sees that, we reach the end of the Road to see a lot of apartments and shops "ooo Starbucks" I pull in and order our usual I get 2 of both one for the drive back and one for the house "thanks bub" "anything for you but should we head back it's 1:34am" "yep definitely" we drive back and we both have a karaoke session in the car which I loved After we reached home we open the door and Bryce Is downstairs "woah who's that" "It's just me Noah chill" "what are y'all doing it's like 2am" "we just went for a drive" "oh erm ok night guys" "night dude" "night Bry" I take of my sweats but I have shorts on underneath "ugh I'm bored" "me to can I set my Xbox down here" "of course baby you don't need to ask" I get up and grab my Xbox and set it up, I load on call of duty while Dixie lays on the sofa with the duvet and watches me play

Dixie pov:
I love watching Noah play on his Xbox I don't know why I just do but I was thinking about me and Noah and what we have become over a month almost we fell in love even when we said we would never date each other but look at us now totally obsessed with each other I mean how can I not look at him he's just perfect not just his looks his everything until he spins around And looks at me "should we watch YouTube I'm getting pretty tired and I need cuddles and head scratchies" "of course bub come here" I say opening my arms he's like a big baby which I love about him he doesn't care  what other people think of him, he lays down and gets under the duvet with me of course I'm the big spoon this time but I start to scratch his head and he puts on mr beast of course "night bubba I love you lots" "night night baby I love you a lot more" we continue to watch YouTube until I hear Noah's light snores I smile and wrap my arms around him dig me head in his chest and soon fall asleep

~time skip to 4:45am~

I wake up from a bad dream I start to heavy breath and feel like i can't breath at all until Noah Turns over and doesn't feel me he opens his eyes and sits up "y-you ok bubs" "I-I just had a b-bad dream I'll be f-fine go back to sleep" "don't be silly come here" I feel Noah pull me in for a hug he pulls me onto his chest and plays with my hair stroking it and twirling it around his finger "you ok baby" "yeh I'll be fine" "do you wanna tell me what it was or" "no not really " "well what ever it was it wasn't real I'm still right here and always will be bubs I promise" I look up at him making eye contact with him for a long time until I slowly drift of back to sleep on his chest I feel a light kiss placed on my head and I feel arms wrap around me and squeeze me tight

Noah pov:
Poor Dixie bad dreams are the worst but at least I know she's ok, I try to go back to sleep but can't so I unpause my YouTube video I was watching before I fell asleep and continue to watch that, until I feel Dixie turn around on my chest "you ok bubs" "mhm" "oh your awake" "kinda I just can't get comfortable" "do you want me to move" "no I need your cuddles" I pull dixie over me so I'm the big spoon she is facing the tv and she is laying on my arm "night baby" "night love" I continue to watch YouTube until I fall asleep tonight was a very good night and me and Dix should do more late night drives and Karaoke sessions I loved to hear her sing her voice is beautiful and I hate she hides that I know all our fans would love her voice as much as I do, but tomorrow we have school but we do it online as we are still in Connecticut and will be for the next 2 months I was not ready to get up early for them but I have to ugh high school is so hard
