Morning Star

Morning Star

White flashes of flickering flame
That wonders in the still dark vault.
The bards sing verses in your name
And above all the heavenly suns you exalt.

I watch your dazzling light
Upon the north is my gaze
Sad memories, deceive or fright
Die burning in your blaze.

The horizon, a flat dark line before
Ignites in flaming amber shades.
A tear roll down, pain in my core.
My morning star departs and fades.
