I Have Known You
I know you.
I have seen you before.
You can say it isn't true.
But I swear, it is in the lore
Of those who wrote in ancient times
Ballads, fables... sonnets of love.
I've heard your name ringing in the chimes
Of a windy day from above.
In dreams we revolved beneath silky sheets.
There where eternity meets
With the greatness of illusion.
When the poet rhymes delusion
And a song is to be sang.
Then again the chimes rang
And your face comes to my mind
And your body makes me blind
But I know you.
I have known you from a past
I am not able to recall.
It is just your presence, a blast
That makes me fall
Into the conclusion
That this is not an invention
I do know you.
I do love you.
