Astralea's POV

Demarco covered his mouth with his arm, realizing what's in front of him. Enzo and Rio are frozen, looking down at all of us.

Adron is looking at Nex, at the bullet in his forehead, at his motionless body, covered in blood and bruises. He put up a fight. Demarco's and Rio's eyes are watery.

Adron turns around and throws his gun at the wall, he is screaming, but I can't hear, can't hear it. All I can do is look at him.

Mira falls on her knees and starts crying, Demarco runs towards her and holds her. I think she is screaming too.

Enzo called someone, it was a short phone call. I guess someone is coming to pick up the body.

Rio and Enzo started cutting down the ropes. Adron is still facing the wall, hands on his head.

I don't know what I'm doing. I don't know what I can do. I think tears are falling down, I can't feel them.

My brother, my annoying sarcastic brother is dead. A person who beat up my ex boyfriend because he didn't get me flowers for our first date. A person who threatened to kill a teacher that was going to fail me. A person who was always there when I needed him, is gone, is dead.

Rio comes up to me and asks me something. But I don't listen, I'm not sure I even could if I wanted to.

Someone else enters the warehouse, more people, they are taking the body, but I'm still looking at that chair. Chair that is now empty.

Demarco and Rio get Mira and walk her out. Adron and Enzo came to me. Adron is asking me something. I guess if I'm okay. Enzo doesn't. Maybe because he understands.

But right now I don't care. The chair is empty.

Enzo puts a hand on my waist and pushed me somewhere, I guess we are leaving. But the next thing I know I'm on the floor. Enzo has his arm under me, Adron is above me, worried, but now I'm looking at the ceiling. I think Enzo carries me to the car. I'm not sure.

I think he took us to the loft. I think I'm on my bed, I'm not sure. I'm not sure about anything. Is this even real? Are those tears coming down on my cheeks? Or am I hallucinating?

Enzo says something, I still don't listen. Silence. I can't heard anything. Not even static.

I see it gets brighter outside, a sunrise I guess. Someone brought me food. I think someone came to me. But I just keep on looking out the window. Sun is going down, I try to look at it, or at the sky, but all I see is that chair. Like it's in my room, like it's infront of me. And Nex is on it. Beat up. Dead.

He is dead.

........
Enzo's POV

"Its been 2 days, she hasn't even moved."

Everyone is in the living room, everyone but her. She has been on that bed ever since I put her on it. I don't think she moved even an inch.

"Can you blame her?" Mira says.

To be honest I'm surprised to hear her talk. She spent the first 24 hours crying, but I think Tia helped her. She flew down here as soon as she found out. I think father threatened her to not leave, but she didn't care.

Adron went from grief to anger withing the first few hours. He has been trying to track every single one of them, which is harder than it should be.

"But she is strong. She is Astralea. She is Luna. I expected a few hours of that, maybe a day, but its been more than two." Rio says and now I want to punch him.

"You don't get it," Mira says, "no one was as close to her as he was. When mom died, he took it upon himself to take care of her. He trained her, taught her how to fight and shoot, her first mission was with him. I'm pretty sure he even knew she is Luna, but played along. "

"He beat up anyone who tried to hurt her when she was a kid. He once even gave our father a death stare when he yelled at her. I might be her sister, she might be close to me, but no one could compete with him. He raised her, helped her, supported her and loved her when no one else could. And now he is gone. I lost a brother, she lost a part of herself, a part that kept her going, and I'm not sure she can come back from it."

"There has to be something." I say. I tried, last night I came to her, she was awake, at first I sat next to her, hugged her, but I don't think she even understood that I'm there. It's like she isn't there.

"What if we call your father?" Rio says.

"Then she might get out of that trans for 10 seconds to whoop out her gun and shoot him." Adron says, I guess in a way she can blame him for it. Shit, she might even blame me. "The only thing we can do is wait."

........

"It's been 4 days, she still hasn't moved."

"I think she slept last night though" Demarco says, clearly concerned too.

"Yeah, for like 30 minutes. "

"Why do you care Enzo," Mira asked. "Last time I checked you didn't even care whether she is alive or dead."

That's not true. I care, more than I should. The moment I saw her was the moment I knew I had to have her. That I shouldn't let her go, that I couldn't let her go. But now, this might be my fault that he is dead. Am I responsible?

"Because if she doesn't eat we will have to get an IV and a nurse. She hasn't even drank water."

"If she doesn't move by tomorrow, we will call someone." Adron said and that's final.

.......

It is the next day, I haven't checked on her. I don't think I'll be able to walk out if I walk into that room.

"If she hasn't moved today, which I have a feeling that she didn't, I'm going to call one of our doctors, see what he says. " Adron said.

"You don't have to worry about that. " Mira said walking into the kitchen.

"She moved?" I asked.

"Yes, maybe even too much."

All of us shot her a questioning look.

"She isn't there, she is gone. Left in the middle of the night I guess."

"What?" Rio and I said at the same time.

"Best part, her silver wig is gone too."

There are five stages of grief, denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. I believe last night she went through all of them and went straight to the sixth one, revenge.

"How do we find her?" Demarco asked.

"We don't, but we will hear from her. My guess is, she will kill a lot of people before she finds his killer."

"It's not just her kill." Adron says.

"Is it not? Be happy she didn't kill you for siding with dad, or any of us. That kill is hers, but if it will make you feel better, trust me, I'm sure she will make it hurt."
