Hi! It's me, the author. So, it's now been exactly a year since I posted this story, and I couldn't be happier with the way it's been received. I'm a perfectionist in that I'll never be completely happy with the story, but with 80k reads I guess I'm doing something right. This, however, is not why I'm updating this story after such a long time.
In the time since finishing this book, some really trying things happened in my life, and I felt that it was best if I just stepped away from the Internet for a while. It's been 6 months and I feel like it's the right time to come back. In doing so, that also means I can finally get the sequel happening! I know some of you read the little bit I had posted before, but this isn't going to be anything like that. It's completely reinvented. I'm not sure when the first chapter will be up, but please follow me and keep checking for it. My biggest fear is, after taking such a long break, no one will want to read my stories anymore. In any case, I want to post the story as a bit of personal progress. Without too much detail, I'm very glad I'm mentally strong enough today to be able to do this. I love each and every person who has read this story, followed me, voted, and even messaged me with feedback. You're all amazing.
