Now, I said I would never write anything M rated, and I still won't. Just some light stuff but nothing too bad. My asexual ass isn't gonna tolerate anything past first base-
I added some sketches to the art chapter, just thought you might wanna check it out. :D
-------------------------------------
Stepping into the quiet empty shop you've lived in for almost a year that night, you felt lonely.
For the first time, you weren't stepping into a loud and lively place. You expected the Doc to pop up from behind one of the machines with his goofy goggles on, ready to greet you with open arms and smudge dirt and rust all over your clothes.
You could almost hear him shouting over the noise, asking you how the delivery went and offering to make you a glass of iced water.
You dragged your boots through the dirt and allowed yourself to collapse on the couch.
You'd be going home soon.
The Doc would return to his lab and you'd finally meet your mother.
But there was that part of you that didn't want to leave. You wanted to live this peaceful life with the Doc... Maybe even with Miss Clayton... and Marty...
Marty...
Your mind began to wander.
The only reason he came back was to bring you two home. He said it himself; even before he found out about the Doc's tragedy, he was set on coming back to bring you home.
You weren't even sure if you'd allow him to take you. Even if he grabbed you by the feet and dragged you back to the DeLorean, you'd claw the dirt to remain in the little town in 1885.
But, thinking back to everything that's happened since Marty came back, you found yourself missing everything back in your proper timeline.
And it was obvious that if you did stay, Marty would still want to go home.
You were stuck in a bit of a dilemma.
Just as your eyes got heavy and you readied to fall asleep in the middle of the shop, the door creaked open.
"Y/N?" Marty whispered, closing the door behind him.
You stayed silent, praying he'd think you'd fallen asleep.
"Y/N," he stood by the couch and shook you by the shoulder lightly. "Y/N, I know you're up."
You exhaled sharply at his words and sat up sluggishly. Rubbing your eyes, you opened them and looked up at Marty.
Marty took a seat beside you and took his hat off.
You could hardly see him in the dark, the only light being the moon emitting from the cracks in the door.
"So... We're finally going home," You were the first to speak.
"Yeah."
"I hope you don't let Tannen get to you tomorrow. I forbid you from doing so."
"Y/N, I know what I'm-"
"In fact, you kinda have to do what I say now," you jabbed his chest with your index finger.
Marty scoffed. "Why?"
"I'm technically a few months older than you now," you shrugged.
"Right."
You couldn't read his expression, but you could see the vague outline of his face contort at your statement.
It got you thinking. you could barely remember what he looked like despite the flashbacks of the incident. It was strange.
