Summary:

One day, Yamada Ryuu (Osaku Ryota) fell down a flight of stairs and lands on Shiraishi Urara (Hayami Saori), accidentally locking lips. After that embarrassing incident, Yamada quickly realises something has gone wrong: he’s swapped bodies with her! Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo is set in a school where seven student witches reside, each with magical powers that can only be activated with a kiss. In order to track down the other witches, delinquent Yamada and ace student Shiraishi, along with the outgoing Miyamura Toranosuke (Masuda Toshiki) and supernatural believer Itou Miyabi (Uchida Maaya), reform the Supernatural Studies Club. What follows is a mystery tale with so many kisses that you’ll never be able to keep track of who has locked lips with who.

Own opinion:

Looking for an anime with lots of kissing scenes? Then you're in the right show. In this anime you should expect lots of kisses ^3^. Yamada-kun deals its fanservice in kisses – and plenty there shall be. You can expect nearly every character to kiss one another at some point – it doesn’t matter if it’s a boy and a girl, two boys, or two girls, or a group of three or more. I can promise anyone who is unfamiliar with the series you’re going to be in for some fun with this one.

Most of the time it’s played for comedy, though there is room for some real romance to blossom between these characters. But behind all the kisses, comedy, and romance, there is also a serious mystery storyline that I fear may not be told in a one-cour adaptation; unless we get another season later on, I fear Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo may finish before it’s truly begun. Putting that aside, this should prove itself to be an entertaining anime with so many shipping opportunities that viewers will be left spoiled for choice.
