Summary:

Digimon is an anime that I feel needs no introduction, but here’s a quick synopsis for you anyway: Digimon Adventures started off with seven children that were transported to the Digital World as “The Chosen Ones” to save the world from evil. They were each partnered up with a Digimon of their own, and through many trials and enemies, learned to work together and evolve their Digimon to reach their maximum potentials. Digimon Adventures tri. picks up six years after the original series ended and brings back the cast as teenagers. This will be another adventure series of how they (once again) fight off evil and bring peace to the Human and Digital World.

Own opinion:

This year marks the 15th anniversary for the Digimon franchise and to celebrate, Toei Animation is releasing a sequel to the original popular series. That’s right, it’s not a spin-off, but a sequel that brings back all the first generation characters. Its been 15 years since the first episode of Digimon came out. Wow, now I feel old -_-

Okay, I know that the art was change, but still don't freaking hate the anime just because the animation change!! I know you want to keep everyting as the same as before but with the latest kind of animation this days the old Digimon Art is something other people won't appreciate.

Geez...well, despite all the precautions I have, I can’t lie – Digimon is a guilty-pleasure of mine. I’m a diehard fan of the original series, and after re-watching it several years ago, it definitely holds a special place in my heart. I’m hyping the series up for myself more than I should, but I’m trying to take everything with a grain of salt. This can be a childhood dream come true…or another disappointment. But who am I kidding, Digimon Adventures tri. tops my must-watch list this season!

Rank: 6 over 5 stars (why? Its digimon you know! Its my childhood.)
