Chapter 3: telling the parents

Zayn had suggested that they just got it over and done with they would be on a call and Margo would mute herself so she could hear what they were saying without them hearing her. Ring, ring, ring. It had only taken three short rings for Margo to pick up the phone. "Hey, so I'm about to have lunch so I'm going to tell everyone then is that all good Margo? I can do it later." Zayn spoke to Margo
"Now is good we just had lunch, so I am relaxing in my room" Margo blurted out. Zayn said that he was going to the dining room and for Margo to mute herself. "Hey mum, hey dad. How's your day going? Listen I have something to tell you both." Zayn voice started to sound uncertain. "I'm great thanks, it's not about a girl, is it?" Zayn's dad spoke "Well yeah about that thing um, I'm going to be a father." Zayn was expecting his parents to growl at him, but this turned out different so far "Congratulation's son, who is the lucky lady?" Zayn's mum and dad spoke.
"Umm, about that you know that girl who healing powers and is a fairy, well her name is Margo, and my child's mother." Zayn spoke
"I knew this was going to be bad ever since my driver spotted you two together. You know what I want you to bring her here I'd like to meet her properly." Zayn's dad spoke. "Dad! I will not let you or Harrey hurt her, if I bring her here, she shall not leave my sight understand. Good! Well, I'll see you later." Margo could here Zayn get up and storm to his room then she heard him start to speak "Margo? Are you there? Would you like to come I promise he won't hurt you." Zayn spoke. Margo thought a while and spoke back to Zayn "Sure I'd love that." Margo then started telling Zayn about how it went with her parents and the fact that they were welcoming about it. "They said you're welcome here anytime; you may not be on our side but you're my baby's father." Margo says happily "Well do you want to meet my parents tomorrow after school?" Zayn spoke "We could ride in my limo, and you could come for afternoon tea at mine and dinner could be at yours? Would that be, ok?" Zayn continued
"Sure, I guess that would we ok." Margo replied

Margo hopped into bed and had a brilliant sleep. She put on a nice dress when she woke up it was a yellow strapless flowy dress with pink flowers scattered over it. Margo walked downstairs and grabbed some breakfast ate it then headed to school. Zayn was standing at the front of the school by the time Margo had been driven to school. "Wow," Zayn spoke "You look great." Zayn complimented Margo "You really think so?" Margo said whilst she blushed. "Yeah, you look amazing. How are you feeling today?" Zayn asked Margo which for some strange reason it reassured Margo "I feel ok today better than a couple of days ago." Margo Looked from Zayn to her stomach and back to Zayn. Wow, this was real. "Hey, Zayn, let's not tell anyone about this yet please." Zayn had a look of relief on his face. "That's what I was going to say. But also, we need to talk at my house about stuff for the baby. And I want you to come meet my friends come sit with me and invite Lilly and Mia. Ohh and also meet me in first period at half way through the lesson at the bench overlooking the lake." the bench overlooking the lake was Margo's favourite spot in the school you see when Margo first moved to her school her friends went exploring and they found a weeping willow tree and they were going to call it their spot, when they walked inside there was this beautiful lake that was when they knew that was their spot. The gorgeous green grass the red roses and yellow daisies. The water was a still as though it was frozen, and everything was perfect there they didn't have to worry about a thing. Margo headed to class and soon enough it was halfway through the lesson, and she walked to the teacher. "Umm, excuse me miss may I go to the nurse, I'm not feeling well." Half of this was true she wasn't feeling well but she wasn't going to the nurse. "Yes, will you be ok to walk there?" Said Margo's teacher
"I'll be fine to walk there thanks." Margo said and she set off for the lake. Zayn was already there. "Hey so I wanted to know if you would be my girlfriend? This isn't just because you're pregnant I generally like you. I have now for a while and because your pregnant this would mean we wouldn't have to keep it a secret from our parents. So, what do you say?" Margo was not expecting this she was so shocked. Zayn never had girlfriends. "Omg I've been wanting that ever since I met you in science. So yes. But I want to take things slow from here." Zayn's cheeky smile was back again. "Of course, as long as you are mine then that is all I want." As we gave a quick hug we parted was and headed off to class. At the end of the day Zayn's limo was there to pick us up. His limo looked the same as ours on the outside, but the inside was very different. Ours had lots of cushions and seats on both sides and up the front of the limo was a bar with apple, orange, and more smoothies and juice there was mints, chocolates, and lollies we also had alcohol, but I couldn't have that until I turn 18. Whereas Zayn's limo had one of the sides as bar they had the usual alcohol-free drinks and acholic drinks and lollies and stuff, but they had blood drinks. Margo thought that was normal because they were vampires. When they arrived, they went to Zayn's room and started talking about the baby "So are we going to raise the baby together?" Zayn asked
"Yes." Margo replied "What are we going to call it? If it's a boy I was thinking Max and if it's a girl I was thinking Amber."
"Max is good, but Amber doesn't sound right seeming that it would become ruler of the underworld. It has to have a name that is brave and fierce." Zayn spoke to Margo "No, it will be ruler of all the lands." They started having an argument of what it would rule. "If it's a girl it would rule the lands if it's a boy it can rule the underworld." Margo said
"Ok but that won't stop me from seeing it." Zayn replied. "Well, we should go now. They are probably waiting for us." So, they got up and started walking towards the dining room. Margo met Zayn's parents and Zayn met Margo's mother. The next few months went well Margo got a little morning sickness and her stomach was getting bigger they decided to make Margo stay at home and Zayn would come around after school and drop notes and work for Margo to complete. "Hey Zayn, are you still alright to come over after school for the gender ultrasound. Call me when you can." Margo spoke to the phone to make a voicemail. Ding dong Margo went to check to see who it was, and it was Zayn standing with a Beaukae of flowers "aww Zayn did you do all that for me they were roses half were blue and the other half were pink and there was a teddy that said my first teddy and when you push the baby blue button on the left hand it said I love you baby. If you push the ivy green button on the left foot it said today's the day we find out if you are a boy or girl and the date. And if you pushed the cotton candy pink on the right foot it said vamp fairy you are. And the pale yellow said nothing "we have to add its name and gender to it." Zayn explained.
