Chapter 5: the birthday

Hi, I'm Amber. Mum never lets me see my dad, but I was allowed to text my dad. Every year on my birthday I would receive a special gift from
him but every night before my birthday I wish that I could see him just once. "Amber come downstairs for your pool party everyone will be here soon." Margo (mum) says towards my balcony doors that overlooks the pool. I was so excited I had my blonde hair tied back in a bun. And my wings were hidden in my bathers. My bathers were brand new today and they were purple with a purple flowery sea through skirt. I race downstairs and find the best party ever. Soon all my friends arrive, and we have the blow-up aqua run which is like an obstacle course on water. When it comes to presents time, I grab the one from my best friend Ella, it was in a small box with a little pink bow on the top. I open the card and start reading "dear Amber you are the bestest friend ever love Ella." I open the box and find 2 Dimond necklaces inside "when you put them together it makes a flower." Ella said
"These can be our friendship necklaces." I spoke
We each take one half and put then on "thank you sooo much I love it. The rest of my party was amazing. As I settled down on the couch with my hot chocolate mum started bringing out gifts. "Is one that I can meet dad?" I asked
"You know that isn't an option. He isn't very nice he left me when I needed him most when we found out you were a girl." I sighed mum always said this whenever I talked about him. "But he is nice I text him every day."
"Amber. That is enough." Mum spoke
"I'll tell you one thing when I grow up, I'll visit him every day, I'll stop speaking now."
mum hands me a card and I open it is saying I get to go shopping tomorrow with Ella. "Really?!!" I squeal "I'm going to go text her now to see if she come. Goodnight mum love you." I run off before mum can say goodnight and I love you. I text Ella and she said she can come. 'Hey dad, I wish I could meet you, but guess what my birthday was awesome, and I had a pool party and tomorrow I get to take Ella shopping love you dad xxx' I texted dad and waited for his reply 'that's so good my princess, where are you going shopping? Have fun Amber.' My eyes light up when talking to dad. 'At the mall near our house. Goodnight daddy.' I fell asleep before dad responded back.

"Rise and shine Amber, you're going shopping with Ella today, now mum has to do stuff today so you guys will have the two bodyguards and your auntie Lilly keeping watch enjoy your day, see you when you get back." Said one of the maids. My auntie Lilly wasn't related to me, but I called her my auntie see she was mum's BFF along with auntie Mia they were all BFFs. I find my favourite summer dress that goes down to my knee and get ready to go shopping. I say goodbye to mum, and we drive to auntie Lilly's house. "Auntie Lilly we are ready to go shopping." I say racing into her house just as fast as the excitements racing inside me. We soon head to Ella's house and there we both start talking so excited about what we're going to buy. When we all said goodbye to Ella's mum, we go to the mall we visited a few shops and I said that I was going to go get a donut and that they could just say there. Auntie Lilly said you can go but Jake had to come with me Jake was one of the bodyguards that came with us.
